Has anyone tried Blue Magic Metal Polish Cream?

Thanks everyone. I really wanted to get NXT metal polysh, but I needed something I could get over the counter that might work just as well. I am concerned about the silicone coating of "protection" that the Blue Magic says it leaves behind. Does anyone know what kind of protection the NXT AMP...

Has anyone tried Blue Magic Metal Polish Cream?

Hi everyone, has anyone tried this polish? I want to use it on some exhaust tips for my 2005 Acura TL. I found some locally, and wondered what you thought of it. Also, I read online that this product, which leaves a silicone protective coating after polishing, can cause the metal to yellow...

Product for Polishing and Sealing Stainless Steel?

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm not sure if Megs has discontinued it or not, but AG sells it: Meguiars NXT All Metal Polysh is one of Meguiars most versatile metal polishes.

? for those who own 2004-2006 Acura TL

Thanks vtec. I really didn't even think of getting some used rims. That's a great idea! And since this is your 1st post, :welcome: to AG online! Hey, do you think that a used set would be: 1. Hard to find, and 2. Expensive?

? for those who own 2004-2006 Acura TL

To me that sounds so weird. Wouldn't you think that ppl would take better care of their cars if they owned a "luxury" brand like you said? Wow. But I'm sure you are right! I guess we as detailers are sooo careful about our cars, and others really don't care...

? for those who own 2004-2006 Acura TL

Exactly! :xyxthumbs: So, are they just made of cheaper materials where they scuff up easier than other wheels? I have a 1999 Camry XLE, and there is some curb rash on them, but nothing like this.

? for those who own 2004-2006 Acura TL

Hi everyone, I'm looking at buying a 2005 Acura TL. I just looked at it today at the dealership, and noticed that ALL 4 wheels had curb rash on them. My question to those who own this body style TL is: Is it really that easy to get curb rash on the rims of these wheels? Or were the...

    Review: Duragloss Car Wash Concentrate

I just used this yesterday to wash my camry. I love how well it suds up, even with the hard water we have here in southern NC. So far I really like this soap!

    Sealant vs Waxes

Hey Moz, there is no such thing as a stupid question! Go ahead and ask away! Anyway, that article by Mike that a fellow AG member posted the link to is full of great info. That will answer your question. But the easy, quick answer is what Mike wrote: Car Wax Contains some kind of naturally...

HUGE Suburban Turn Around -LOTS of pics

What a BIG difference! And I know you had to be wiped out after doing such a large vehicle, in 100 degree heat, too! THAT shows dedication! One question...what did you use to clean the leather with? It looks great! :wow:

    Claying,Poli-Coat & Collinite 845

Yes, you are right, D151 has wax in it, and 205 does not (it's a pure polish). But from my experiences reading lots of info about the D151, it does have wax in it, and its fairly durable on it's own, but if you want extra protection, then go ahead and apply the Collinite 845 on top of the D151...

    So here's an odd-ball question...

Thanks everyone for the great info. I guess the general consensus is that the exterior color of the car isn't a huge factor with the heat, but the interior color is. I was thinking along those lines too, but I just wanted to get some feedback from everyone and see what they thought. And what...

    So here's an odd-ball question...

Hmmmm...I never would have thought about the amount of glass being a big factor in how hot a car can get. That is definitely something to consider. Good advice! I guess I'm just asking about a regular 4 door sedan, because I'm looking to buy a used TL.

    So here's an odd-ball question...

Hi everyone! I need to ask a question to those who have ever owned a black car, or a black leather interior car. Does the interior of a black car get that much hotter in the summer than a lighter colored car? I know that it will be hotter, but I just wondered if it is sooo hot that you have...

Experimenting with Megs D151 - 2001 PT Cruiser

Thanks Mike! Yes, she was very happy with how shiny the car turned out, and, I really didn't have the time to dedicate to do a 2 step correction for her DD. So, all in all I think the car turned out well. I'll keep experimenting along with some other products too, and further my experience...
