Thanks for the reply. Whatever we end up using, it has to be paint safe. The last bike we did had chain wax all over it. For the life of me, I can't figure out why the previous owner would use so much. :eek:

Thanks! I should have known that. My first bike was chain driven and I used to use WD-40 to clean the chain. :rolleyes:

My dh took it while riding along side of me. Take a couple of rides as a passenger to see if that's something you can overcome. Dh got his bike and was always coming home with big ole grins on his face. Naturally, the curiosity in me made me want to see how much fun it was. :)

What do you guys use to get chain wax off of bikes?? My Dh and I detail bikes for a dealership and we have encountered a whole bunch of sport bikes where the previous owner got ambitious with it. The last bike we did had it all over the place and it took forever to clean it.
