I've always had the same issues with my truck. After polishing a few years back, I ended up coating it. That has kept it from getting the chalky look ever since.

I'm not sure it's any better than any other rinseless wash. The price tag on that is almost double.

Isn't UWW not really worth it as a rinseless? If my math is correct, there is 16 oz in a bottle which means you only get 16 washes out of it (1oz per 3 gall) compared to a gallon of ONR or any other rinseless that come in gallon sizes. Even if I were to get two bottles of UWW, it's still on 32...

Mine had the brass adapter as well. It wasn't leaking there. Water was coming out the bottom vent area. I returned it and bought the Ar 118. Much better machine for me, no chance of it falling over either.

I just received this SunJoe washer and it leaks out from the bottom of the aluminum hose outlet. Is it supposed to do that? The hose adapter is in tight and that's not where it's leaking from. water is coming out from the bottom. Just curious.

I applied Opticoat 2 last summer. Since then, due to the past winter and the inevitable swirl here and there, my vehicle is in need of a correction. What's my best best to correct the swirls without having to reapply Opticoat? I'm thinking of using Opti-clean for the decontamination step...

How do you find it when working in tight spaces between seats for example? Is the hose long enough to get in tight spots?

I have the same truck and it does in fact have single stage paint. I don't usually see any white paint transfer on the pads either for some reason. In the past, I have experienced the white, chalky appearance due to oxidation though. BTW, that looks to be in great shape, mine only has 42,000...

It looks hideous. Everything is white over white and a mix of pastel colors. I won't upgrade to it. It's good if you like the teenage look.

Same here. I ordered opti dual pro applicators (3 pack). Ordered it over weekend and wont be here til Monday or Tuesday next week. Just put the damn small package in the mail already. USPS takes 2 days from Florida to Mass. Ridiculous.

I notice the same paint issues with my wife's 2013 Accord. Super thin paint and chips easily. I have an order of opticoat on the way. Never used it yet. What's a good prep for that type of vehicle prior to the coating? She's has a dark blue Accord.

turtle wax rinseless wash. Not impressed at all and you have to use way too much.

Love my 2013 as well...... except that now it has a nice big dent in the rear quarter caused by an ignorant person while at the mall. Wife came out to carriage damage with no cameras or anyone taking responsibility. Not happy. Seems you can't have anything good anymore without it getting...
