I only redeem mine when there is a sale, because for me, no sale = no sale. :D

buying my first electric polisher. need help with supplys

I agree. I'm sure the Cyclo is a fine tool too, but you just don't see many people using it or even talking about it. I don't think I've ever read of any professional detailers on AGO using one, other than when Mike Phillips demonstrates it, or teaches others how to use it. Perhaps it's a cost...

    could use some good advice.

I you're asking if you can use 425 as a stop-gap until you can give your car a proper wash, yes.

Bird crap etching even after recent sealant and wax?!

I looked up and read the report. It would be more conclusive (to me at least) if they did other tests with different organic matter, to see if the paint reacted in a similar fashion.

Hydro2 lite is ready to ship!

I guess the benefit would be if you don't have a hose or good strong water pressure to use Hydro2 in the normal fashion, you can use it as a WOWO.

    My employee screwed up today

Ouch. That must have been one heck of a belt buckle. Put up a sign: "No belts, rings, or other jewelry is to be worn while working on vehicles."

    Total Newbie Overwhelmed by Options!

I only know they work; don't ask me how! But I assume that when you use an AIO, after you have worked it in, any abrasives and cleaner is taken up by the pad, and only the protection is left behind. Anyway, I suggested using an AIO because without a machine, it's really difficult to use a...

Welcome to AGO. If you haven't seen it already, resident sensei Mike Phillips wrote this for owners of new cars: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/how-articles/54451-how-detail-your-brand-new-car-mike-phillips.html

    Total Newbie Overwhelmed by Options!

Welcome to AGO! Last Step Product. The Wax, sealant, or coating. If you car isn't all swirled up, you can get away without a DA for now. But without one, I'd be inclined to recommend using an all-in-one "wax." As far as when to use Iron-X, the only way to know is to use it.

"Throw Away" Microfibers for polish/wax removal?

I've been using Costco's Kirkland MF towels for just about everything. While they may not be as good as more expensive towels, they are far superior to most of the towels I see at mass market stores. I've weighed them; they are roughly 340 gsm towels, and have a dual pile finish. They're...

Anyone here know about Envi On Demand?

It's a new take on a car wash; instead of people going to the tunnel wash, the wash comes to them. I wouldn't call the service detailing, even if it had a wax option.

Best overall WOWA for Longevity and Ease of Application?

I can't say which is best of the three, but if ease of use is a factor, how about a spray sealant like CarPro Hydro2 instead?
