    Price differences with Sealants

I'm not a professional, but the average person doesn't know or care about premium products; they are clueless about Sonax, CarPro, etc. While advertising such products might net you a few clients, by and large the majority of people only care about the quality of work and the results, not the...

Review & Video: SONAX Brilliant Shine Detailer

By chance just yesterday I happened to watch your other video, comparing it and CarPro Reload. I will stick with Reload since I am using CQUK. Regardless, nice review.

Lake Country Coating Applicator one time use?

I don't think it would be enough to clean the applicator as you described. It probably needs to soak in a cleaning solution for awhile to make sure whatever product is embedded in it is broken down before rinsing it out to dry.

To Treat or Not Treat Windshield? Aquapel Rain-X

I need to (or want to) revisit Rain X and Aquapel. I've used both in the past. Of the two, I've had better experience with Aquapel (didn't it have a different name before?). In the last year, I have tried Gtechniq, both G1 and G5. Honestly, I don't think either works any better than the cheaper...

*Leather and Dashboard* time for change

I haven't used it, but how about this: SONAX Leather Foam Leather Cleaner & Conditioner, Sonax leather cleaner conditioner, sonax leather care Heck, it's made in Germany, so it must be good for German cars. :D

Here it is! BOSS - Best of Show System

With a warranty like that, it makes it hard to argue against getting one!

    Tree Sap

A light claying should remove the sap without compromising the sealant.

    Black "nubs" on chrome wheels

I've never heard of anyone removing tar with chrome polish. Tar remover, WD40, gasoline, etc., but not chrome polish. I had some tar on the barrels of my (non chrome) wheels. There were hard enough that I could rip through a nail if I tried to scrape them off. I used Goof Off; it took a lot of...

First time polishing - ecstatic with the results

Nothing wrong with using a slightly damp pad. A little moisture can actually help sometimes, letting the polish work longer without drying out or dusting. You will even see some guys spray a new pad with a light mist of liquid (water, pad conditioner, quick detailer, etc.) before adding polish.

    Black "nubs" on chrome wheels

Maybe it's tar? In which case you would use a tar remover.

1st complete detail on Honda accord.

The next course of action would be to continue doing the test spot with the Ultimate Polish, but with the more aggressive orange pad. If that combination doesn't take care of the swirls, then bump up to the compound and orange pad. Just be sure that when you start with the polish and white pad...

    Hate to ask this but.....

Perhaps you need to do a better job of upselling? Are you taking the time to inspect their vehicle, and show them what you're seeing in the finish? Don't just let them come to you and say, "I want the Standard Gem" and leave it at that. They can only say no. If you're already doing that...
