    Detailers in Little Rock, AR?

I live in the LR area and detail as a hobby but I'm not to the point where I can correct paint or pull serious stains (you know, the things that require $400-$1000 worth of equipment). I'll get there eventually but when people ask be if I can do either of those things, I tell them no and don't...

    Messed around with Iron-X yesterday

So you didn't wash the car prior to this? Just sprayed it right on? I have a bottle and haven't been impressed with the results but perhaps i'm using it wrong. In the past I've washed the car with ZEP Citrus and dried it completely then applied iron X.

Meguiars wash mit - doesn't hold suds?

If you're an OTC guy give Megs Ultimate Wash a try. It's more of a neon yellow/green instead of the orange bottle. It's worked well for me.

    Cordless battery powered DA polisher?

I think so, vehicle manufacturers use cordless tools for extended periods of time for their jobs. Also, folks like Makita have produced a chainsaw that runs on two li-ion batteries. I laugh because I was thinking of this as well, I have no corded or gas powered tools and they've never let me...

    Meg's D101 for wheels wells?

Well, don't just point out a problem! Offer a solution. I know OPC is a good product but I'm trying to stay inside the Meguiar's line of products. Does the Super Degreaser work well to clean the plastic in a wheel well? I plan to use Meg's Ultimate Protectant to dress the well afterwards.

    Meg's D101 for wheels wells?

Well good deal, I planned to dilute 4:1 water/APC and see how effective that mixture was. But $15 a gallon for concentrate seems reasonable to me. I'm a weekend warrior so I'm sure I can stretch this out for awhile. Thanks guys,

    Meg's D101 for wheels wells?

Hey guys, I bought some D101 APC thinking it would be just that, APC. But all the bottle says is use on carpets and upholstery. That's nice but I intended it for use in an engine bay or wheels wells. Do I need to send this back for something else or am I okay?

Exterior Showroom Detail: 06 EVO IX SE

when you used the power washer to apply foam, let it dwell, then rinse, then foam again, then you went to a mitt. I guess you foamed the entire car then, essentially, rubbed a mitt over the entire vehicle top to bottom. Then rinsed without cleaning the mitt at all? I'm getting a power washer...

    Meguiars Endurance products

Hey Guys- I'm updating my setup and am trying to decide on a tire dressing. I want to use the Meguiars Endurance Gel formula because it's easy to use with applicators but can't find any reviews here on it? Either I'm terrible at searching or need some help with your opinion on the gel vs. the...

    Removing VLR

I really like VLR however, if too much is applied it'll be very shiny and slippery. So ensuring all the product is removed is important. VLR will leave a duller finish when the excess product has been removed. welcome and congrats!

Pads and backing plate for air drill

Any recommendations for what pads and backing plate to use for an air drill? The idea is to create a kit to restore headlights. Should I just buy a kit made for cordless drills and just use the air drill? Thoughts? Warnings?

    Embedded material in the paint.

I suppose this is my next step. To answer the questions about feeling it: no, I cannot. It seems flush with the paint. The entire car has been clayed so perhaps the clay broke off what remained on top? I suppose Megs Ultimate Compound/Polish would be strong enough to test?

    Need help choosing a drill

If you're willing to spend that coin then I'd go for a GG3.

    Glass towels

When using distilled water, do you just buy a gallon at a time then spray the towel directly?

    Glass towels

Okay, I bought the 5 pack of glass towels and WOW. I'm very impressed. I took out a sheet and went to the kitchen, soaked in it the hottest water I could muster, once the sheet was soaked I wrung it out. Back to the garage, I folded the towel in fours and went to work. I immediately went...

    Embedded material in the paint.

I decided to test things out on the drivers side fender. The entire car has been clayed with Mothers Claybar (been used a few times but I do have a brand new bar laying around) and the area I tried was prepped with ZEP citrus to remove all wax/contaminants. Then dried the entire area and applied...

    Embedded material in the paint.

I need to ironX the entire car and take note of overall changes. If it was sap, the TarX would've handled that, right? I assume sap falls under "organic" material.

NEW HTML5 Site UP! Super Happy! Check it out!

Looks good. You can tell time went into it. Only thing I thought looked gimmicky was the footer. The fully insured logo, google items, and etc could be cleaner. I think it'd help the flow if those items were more harmonious.

    Embedded material in the paint.

I'd give it a try if I had a sample to use but I just spent $30 on IronX and TarX. The first picture is a treated area and the last two pics are untreated areas. From what I can tell, IronX doesn't even respond to those orange/yellow areas. I see it dissolving elsewhere.

I can't edit my OP so here are pics of what I'm looking at. Thoughts?
