I've always heard Meg's PlastX does a good job.

    Applying Tire Dressings

I use a spray dressing instead of a gel with the applicator you listed and it works very well. However, after I go through this bottle I may switch to a Meg Gel. Might want to pick these up if I can!

    Wheel wells

I use Mothers wheel well brush and my soap bucket, scrub the well then rinse the well. After I'm done washing I'll use tire dressing on an applicator to finish the wells. It's a temporary routine but I'll probably change to something more appropriate now that I'm switching to Meg's products.

    Review: Meguiars Wheel Brightner

I NEED some WB for my wheels, there's some brake dust that's caked on...really bad. However, I can't justify buying in the commercial size that Meg's offers if I'm only going to do one set of wheels. It looks like great stuff though! OP, look into ceramic pads as they eliminate dusting and...

Give me reason to keep my foam gun

Keeping the tool for use in stripping wax/LSP is a good reason. I'm also going to see how well it does with the wife's car this week for it's bi-weekly washing. I'm wanting to use ZEP Citrus to remove wax/lsp, that oughta do it. Right?

Give me reason to keep my foam gun

Stripping wax off, I forgot about that. I need to get ahold of a 5GAL Zep Citrus Degreaser and test that out. Good word.

Give me reason to keep my foam gun

Morning all, I bought a Gilmore foam gun the other day with my Amazon order expecting it to help my process. However, after using it a few times, I'm underwhelmed. Granted our cars have been outside for two months and were never washed during our moving transition so both vehicles were...

Remind me, what does ONR stand for? Everyone uses that term and I feel like I'm missing out. Car looks good.

Can NOT get these wheels clean???

That all sounds very exciting. I'm currently moving away from Mothers and to Meg's namely because of their comprehensive spectrum of products. I'm not to the point where I can justify buying large quantities but am definitely going to give their Ultimate line a shot (unless someone reccomends...

Can NOT get these wheels clean???

Where do you pickup Meg's WB? I'm pretty sure I've got some severe staining on my wheels. I suppose I need to pick up a cone buffer as well! I think I need a lesson in dilution because I never know what folks mean when they say 4:1/1:1/1:2. I get that it means for every 4 parts of WB add 1 part...

    Another Camaro corrected

The water spots remind me of my 5.0! Really want to get me a DA and remove all of them. Anyways, great work. Do you like to stick with CG products? I'm currently trying to decide between Chemical Guys or Adams Polishes.

Can NOT get these wheels clean???

Have you gone to ceramic pads? To be sure, I'd go after a specific spot instead of the whole wheel. Let your cleaner dwell for awhile while scrubbing then wash, if no change then move to someting more aggresive like and acid. Again, doing a small test spot first. I'm having problems with my...

    Zep product dilution

What's the difference between 505 and the citrus? I'm eyeing the Citrus gallon for bug removal and stripping wax/prewash before claying.

Question about glass cleaner and streaking

Use news paper instead of papertowels/microfiber/anything. News paper is the way to go when cleaning any time of glass.

honeydew ratio for gilmore foam gun

I just got mine today and used it for a second. I put soap and water into the plastic can (not sure if this is correct or not). But my impressions weren't all that great. I may need more water pressure from the spicket, if this is possible, or not dilute the soap. But overall, i'm not impressed...

Brake dust removing paint from wheels

The wife and I have been nomads waiting for our house to be finished so car care over the past few months has been negligable. However, I managed to detail the interiors and wheels but noticed when I cleaned the wheels on the mustang, I saw black areas. Like a primer layer under the silver...
