That is a massive hood, lots of demo room. I saw it by the van when it was off loaded.

I have the quart can of 3m remover and have used it to remove adhesive the goo gone and acetone would not remove. Still was a lot of work and plastic blades that day. I think I will skip the next large adhesive removal job directed my way.

Turned out looking good using battery power. Guess I will have to look at one at MTE and see how it feels.

Welcome to the forum. There are some detailers around Houston on the forum, just might take a few days for them to see your post.

A blow torch is fastest, rough on the paint! I started with leaf blowers and then got the turbo car dryer and finally the metro blaster sidekick pro to help. If you get a leaf blower try to keep it dedicated to detailing. The turbo dryer works good.

Thats some cools cars! Since the class is full I hope some take advantage of the Road Show classes that are offered.

I knew which pads you meant. I use only Lake Country pads.

Sorry i haven't tried the Uro-Fiber pads so can't offer an opinion. From looking thru other post in the forum they are a "liked" pad. Maybe someone will chime in.

I just did my first wash yesterday using DI water and ONR. It went real well but will probably have a hard time selling it to customers.

I use the 3401 as my primary polisher. Since taking the Competition Ready Detailing Class where I was able to use all of the brands of polishers available in class i liked the Griot Garage products better than the Rupes polishers. That is just my opinion, which here you will get a lot of them...

So after all these months I finally got to watch the episodes for Detail Fest. I have enjoyed watching all the episodes. It was amzing to see the final show after seeing all that went on to film the episode. I would detail again at Detail Fest even if it wasn't televised.
