    At Detail Fest i found that the McKee's Heavy-Cut Oxidation Remover would fit well with my RV supplies. Then I got home and bought an RV to try it on! Still won't get to try it for about three more weeks.

    7424 to Griots 6"

    Haven't tried the GG6 but I have the GG3 with the LC flat pads. I move from the PC to toe Flex 3401 then the GG3 then the PE8. I think you will enjoy the GG6.

    The IDA SV test is a skills test taken after you complete the IDA CD "Certified Detailer" test which can be done online. As this is a time slotted one on one test I don't believe that you would achieve anything. I am not even sure you would be allowed to watch a skills test being taken. Guess...

    Please Help - What's a typical paint thickness variation on a late 80's Porsche?

    I wouldn't be surprised seeing that variation. I have seen factory repaint where they just reshot the whole car and it almost doubled the thickness. If there is no damage history it is possible that part got a little extra. Guess it will come down to if you like the car and want it.
