Well said. And defending the bashing appears fruitless anyway...

Yes and I am trying to promote SystemOne here so I lose business on my site. LOL

BTW you can't feel the abrasives in ScratchX? That's stuff is gritty, and it shows in the paint big time by hazing it up.

Roger that...but just don't let conventional wisdom tell you that a product can't work and keep you from trying it. Diminishing abrasives have been preached as 'the best and only way' for years and most of us know of nothing else, so when something different comes along, it doesn't fit the...

I'm not asking you to buy anything. I was originally responding to the statement about 'all polishes break down' then I got off on a tangent about particle size because the poster said polish 'had' to break down to finish (which is not true).

No, or at least not until they break down. Most (but not all) polishes have particles that you can feel with your fingers (gritty). SystemOne has no gritty feel. You can't feel them because they're so small.

SystemOne, like other non-diminishing abrasive polishes, does not break down. It's cutting particles are microscopic, which is how they can cut and finish.

I agree. Three minutes tops to wetsand and polish and you're done.

SystemOne does not break down...it is not a diminishing abrasive. Using too much X3 just makes a mess (sling) and wastes polish...I have found no other downside.

I agree that a lot of polish is used in the videos. I have the following speculations: - In a demo, you don't want to go dry and have to reapply; that would take time and you might leave the crowd thinking you're not on top of things. So, use a little more than you think you'll need as a...

    SYSTEM ONE spray wax

I would just add that you should make sure you have a dry cloth for final buffing or you might get streaks...especially on dark colors. I use one cloth to apply and one to buff off. In that sense, it's a little slower than a quick detailer, IMHO.

Just thought I'd mention that SystemOne polish is over 30% cheaper than Menzerna Nano...so even if it's only 'as good' as Menz, I still save money and am happier giving my money to a US-based company.

Another excellent point. Regardless of what's said in favor or in opposition to this stuff, the main things is how it works for an individual. It either works for you, or it doesn't. I charge $45/hour for my time and would rather spend $15 to try something out than spend an excessive amount...

Are you referring to the ones in this post? #63 I don't think he's avoiding you, but this thread is pretty hairy and the guy does run a polish and wax company PLUS a custom auto body shop so I'm guessing he's pretty busy. I do think some of the questions were answered...like he hasn't...

I'm not much for wipes, but they might be a good thing to keep in the car for touch-ups 'on the road'...
