Chemical Guys Hybrid V7 - It's Here and it Impresses

That's exactly the way I was looking at it. For the price of V7, might as well use a cheaper OTC drying aid, if any. Personally, I almost never 'wipe' when drying and just blot. Thanks vm. I'll save my V7 for delivering the post dry 'pop.

Tips & Techniques for using a Spray Detailer to Remove Light Dust, Fingerprints and Smudges

Chemical Guys Hybrid V7 - It's Here and it Impresses

Thanks, Erich. I get that it's a barrier b/w the towel and paint, but will you get the same 'POP' and sealant (to the degree that is actually true) effect when used as a drying aid, or will those benes really come from applying to a dry surface? This stuff is not cheap :p

Chemical Guys Hybrid V7 - It's Here and it Impresses

Waxmax: Would you mind please telling me exactly how you would use it as a drying aid? Spray on WW towel, then blot? Wipe? Spray on panel the blot (or wipe)? Also, how 'dry' do you think the panel should be beforehand? Would it be wasteful to apply if the panel is pretty damp? Thanks -

Anyone use a pressure hand pump sprayer?

I use one of those during the winter months to pre-rinse, hit my wheel wells, and wash of any chemical product used on my wheels themselves.

Looking to try out Gummipfledge, hoping it reduces the sound of air that occassionally seeps in when driving at high speeds (nothing crazy, of course).
