IMO, no. I have this product and a couple of others. This is a good product, but wait for it to be on sale if you feel a need to try it out.

+1. I posted about this a long time ago and the King Cobra (Mike Philips) suggested not worrying about the stains as long as the cloths are clean and free from material which would mar the paint.

I have WW drying towels from..ahem..a competitor, that is not as soft as I expected and was also hyped-up. To avoid marring, I blot dry 95% of the car an only wipe in very low or otherwise non "prime time" areas. Any final wipe will be with a plush MF and some form of product (QD. V7, OCW, etc.).

I have used CG's MF cleaner with good results in 'cleaning' off dirt, goop, etc. Some stains remain, but I suspect that will be the case regardless of washing detergent. Micro-restore, however, is on my radar...

Has anyone had issues getting in touch with customer service to return items? I call twice today (once at 10AM and again at 1PM ); both times I was told "the person" who could/should help me was busy and was sent to that person's voice mailbox. Is it a one-man band in the returns area...

This sounds fishy to me. I would suggest calling customer service. Note, though, I am going on 3 hours so far waiting for a call back to return an item recevied yesterday. Not a great sign....
