    Question about car detailing

Welcome to AGO!!! I got the bug several months ago and am now hooked, lined nad sunk :) Regarding your 'sanding' step, I suggest not 'sanding' anything if you are truly new to car paint care. Leave that to the pros or practice on a junk car first to learn the process. Alternatively, if...

"Best" (Highest Lubricity, Shine, Cleaning) Rinseless Wash?

I am a big fan of Todd Cooperider's work. Let us (or at least me) know how that works out. You mentioned lubriciity in your first post. One thing I've started to do is add little bit of Meg's Last Touch to my waterless wash, rineseless wash and traditional two bucket wash applications. Get...

    CG Blacklight being topped with...

CG markets it a Quick Dealer / Spray Sealant. The latter part is what I believe people have in mind when they refer to topping with it. Check out the CG YouTube video that shows an example of BL followed by V7. Sorry I don't have the link for ya' right now....

    Chemical Guys Custom Labeling

Exactly my point. I had never actually 'seen' it in practice until the example I provided caught my eye. Guess I was the only one who found it interesting. Oh well.

    Chemical Guys Custom Labeling

Ha, nope - not my site. But take a closer look at the 3 products on their home page (in my attached screenshot), they say 'Shiny Ride', not 'Chemical Guys'. I thought it was an interesting example of the custom labeling mentioned somewhere within the CG site for re-sellers.

    Favorite Chemical Guys Product(s)?

I read the "Unholy Trinity" discussion - good point. Btw, did you order the GW Glaze directly from CG in Calif.? It doesn't seem so easy to come by. I have EZ Creme Glaze II under Wet Diamond but plan to re-do it with EZ Creme + BL + V7 in a few weeks to see how it works out. EZ Creme...

    Favorite Chemical Guys Product(s)?

You'll be happy with the BL, V7 and Citrus W&G. Curious, how will you decide when to use the Glossworkz Glaze rather than the Black Light? Also, lmk how you like the Honeydew and Synthetic Detailer - after you had a chance to play with them a bit. I've had my eye on both.

    Wash n' Rinse Thoughts

I typically soap and wash my entire car (either via the TBM, a foam gun, or combination of both), then rinse and dry. Do you guys think this is better than washing/rinsing one section at a time and drying after all sections are done? I 'suspect' it is easier to remove dried 'soapy' spots...

Depends on if and how well the WGDGPS 'bonds' to the BL.....right? Not a question for me...I'm just sayin'....

    Hello From Merrick, New York

Welcome to AGO! I am also in Merrick. The PC 7424 XP, which I got about a year ago, is a solid machine. I used it for applying sealant, but not wax yet. Works great!
