You just can't beat the Flex 3401...

I'm a little late to this thread, but my 3401 rocks. I got a steal on an open box HD model in June and finally have gotten time to put it to use. I picked up a Flex 4 3/8 backing plate since I already have a bunch of 5.5 inch flat pads. I also got some more 5.5 CCS pads. It is a little more...

Need new pressure washer, any recommendation?

I've got the AR 383SS. Perfect for occasional use and homeowner projects. I didn't mind giving up a few PSI for the 390. Lawnmower, siding, wood fence, it does a nice job.

    Dash cleaner/undercarriage/ drying towels

If you have a truck, get at least 3 dry me a rivers. I love mine. The guzzler in the really big size from AG is nice, too.

    Carpro Snow Soap X

Finally got around to using Snow Soap. I had washed my truck the day before so it was still clean. I wanted to a Mike Phillips aggressive wash to fully clean up from the winter. Truck got Iron X, which showed no reaction except a small spot on the hitch. After PW off, I put about 3oz of Snow...

    what's your weather currently like?

28 and snowing. We've picked up 2 inches in the last hour and half on a "little to no accumulation" forecast. I'm not shoveling anything tomorrow.

Definitive 3D Towel Kleen instruction thread.....

Towel washing temperature seems to be like car washing methods. Some people only use a traditional hose wash, others are fine with Rinseless. I know my towels come out clean, and I feel using hot water helps to break up any fabric softener residue that may be in the washer. My wife dumps that...

Definitive 3D Towel Kleen instruction thread.....

1.5oz- 2oz a wash. Depends on size of the load or how dirty they are. I usually wash in hot, rinse with cold, and use the "extra" rinse function on my washer so I don't have any residue left in the machine. Permanent press settings, on my washer it's about 30 minutes. Dump the TK right into...

    Fender wells with carpet?

Try paint thinner or mineral spirits. I would use a rag or a foam brush to directly apply to the road paint. Let it soak in, then pressure wash. If not, just paint those areas black.

    Just ordered HD Adapt....pads??

Bumping a thread from the dead but I have an Adapt question. I plan on using Adapt with MF cutting pads. Do you have to completely prime the entire pad with product, or is 4-6 drops enough? Same thing for foam pads?

    McKee's 37 Rinseless Wash & Wax

The more I use my BRS the better i get with it. The best advice I can give is to let the sponge presoak until it's really soft. It's recommended to let it live in a bucket of ONR. Of course mine is bone dry right now in a bucket but that's besides the point. Keep it wet and moist and it will...

I tried Wolfgang Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant, Wow!

I think somewhere someone else's reply got placed as mine. If Wolfgang works like a spray sealant, it definitely beads, but doesn't shed water. We had some snow showers today. My wife's car is covered with water spots on the flat surfaces. Sides all look fine. I'll have to find some time to...

    McKee's 37 Rinseless Wash & Wax

McKee's feels slicker than ONR. I only tried it out with my BRS, so I can't compare it to using a microfiber towel. It did release really well, but that may be have been a function of the sponge. With only washing two vehicles I don't think it would have had enough time to stain. Plus, all...

    Thoughts on HD Towel Kleen?

I was using MR before TK. TK I feel leaves the towels slightly "fluffier". Cleaning ability is about the same.

    Thoughts on HD Towel Kleen?

Works well as a pretreatment as well. With the exception of my ONR stained wash towels everything comes out clean and soft. I use it on both my detailing towels and the microfibers I use for household use. Some of the house hold ones can be full of cleaners and crud from the stove and they...

I tried Wolfgang Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant, Wow!

I gave this a try today on my wife's car. I was really happy overall with the product. I used it on the paint, trim, glass, and wheels. A little bit goes a long way. Sprayed one or two pumps per panel, wiped in, then came back and buffed all the panels out. Nice smell like black cherry...

    McKee's 37 Rinseless Wash & Wax

First, sorry but no pictures. I got a bottle of this with the last mystery box. I'm a rinseless wash guy so I was looking forward to trying this out. Currently I use either ONR or ONRWW. McKee's has a nice banana scent, reminding me a lot of banana Runts candy. The yellow liquid feels about...
