Silicon Products + Bodywork/Paint Work issues

I asked him about that since Ceramic Coatings have silicon in them and he said he has never had an issue with Ceramic Coatings on cars likely because its cured where the other spray on stuff does not cure and sticks very well

Silicon Products + Bodywork/Paint Work issues

Its possible the sanding just embedded the silicon deeper into it and contaminated his equipment. he was having the same issue with another car and called Adams as that owner used their detailing products. Right away the person on the phone said, no no no our products are full of silicone and...

Silicon Products + Bodywork/Paint Work issues

Hello All, I have a friend that I polished and Ceramic Coated their car Summer 2018. Unfortunately last week they brought it in to a bodyshop I know the owner of to fix a minor hit on their rear bumper. The owner of the body shop who I know took it in did the body work and painted it. He said...

    Q: ceramic over xpel...overkill?

SO I see a few of you guys saying that PPF will not stick to a Ceramic coating and should not be put on first. I bought a new car in 2016 and I brought it home, applied Cquartz UK and then a few days later I got the full front end covered in PPF. I have had no issues with it not sticking, I...

McKee's 37 MK37-200 Paint Coating vs regular coating

McKee's 37 MK37-200 Paint Coating vs regular coating

Hey guys, was reading other threads and came across McKee's 37 MK37-200 Paint Coating. It looks to be a spray on coating similar to Geyon CanCoat? However it says it lasts up to 2 years? From you guys who have used it before how does it compare to a Cquartz UK 3.0 or Geyon Pure & other...

    Self Healing Ceramic Coating

I also have heard good things but their consumer line lasts about 1 year when comparing to cquartz UK 3.0 which is 1.5 - 2 years. Also Feynlab is more expensive. So I dont see a reason why their consumer stuff would be very different? Thanks

    Self Healing Ceramic Coating

So I know Feynlab has self healing ceramic coating however you need to be a authorized installer to get it. So I'm wondering if there is any other company that sells self healing ceramic coating to consumers like me who just detail their own cars and maybe the odd client here and there. Thanks

Feel like I was duped here with detailing and ceramic coating

You are jsut in the wrong area/market. I'm up in Toronto, Canada. Generally to Polish/Ceramic coat a car prices start at around $1,000 give or take. If you love what you are doing you may want to move where the market allows you to charge more if possible. OR you could even start advertising...
