Sure come on by . . . . i would be totally for that, i'll just take a cut of the profits said the smart business man. LoL. I'[m not going to argue with you on another members thread. AG might pay the bills but the members make the forum. You can have a forum with no active members and at that...

Right, however if you have a "Auto Detailing" forum it should be for all things related to detailing and that includes buying and selling. People shouldn't feel forced to purchase autogeek products for utilizing their forum. I can understand if people were selling as a business on here however...

    Which steamer?

I think I might give one a try. I figure it could be beneficial. I've done everything by hand thus far so a steamer could only be an improvement. I'm not a high volume detailer so this might be a better route as I will do like 1 car a day They run about $140 vs $800 for the vx5000

I guess that's why I stopped posting on AG. Pretty weak sauce here. Not sure why they wouldn't have a for sale section trading is almost the same thing. LuxuryAutoSpa trade for cash lol.

    Which steamer?

I'm faced with the same choice as to either get the Mcculloch which is about $130 and I can get 2 of those or buy the VX5000 and spend $800. I feel like I could use that $540 difference for other tools or advertising or some place else period. I can't locate the psi rating for Mcculloch so I'm...

    Which steamer?

Any updates on that Mcculloch steamer? I'm looking at that or the vx5000 but that's a huge price difference and if not necessary I could use the extra $ I saved elsewhere.

    How versatile is a steamer?

I'm thinking of picking that steamer up to. Would be great to get some feedback otherwise I'll end up getting a dupray or something. Isn't a steamer better then using chemicals all the time? I use to think steamers cut time but after watching videos it looks like a long process.

    Blow out interiors?

I use a aircompressor for a lot of stuff but not vents. Use a interior brush and water to clean and dust the vents unless they are caked with stuff. Ive been thinking of getting a steamer to pretty much have the best of both worlds.

2008 Honda Fit - Milano Pink

Megs Ultimate Compound is a god send for this type of oxidation. Used it many times for this. Be prepared to use or frequently clean your pads as they will turn red. Hit it with Megs UC then I would pick up a small bottle of something like a fine jeweling polish such as Menzerna 85rd or an AIO...

2-3 guys needed - Pontoon Boat Project - Tomorrow! (Wednesday)

Mike, what was your process for restoring the aluminum. I've seen some pretty awesome videos of people who do this for a living however not all of us detailers have the tools they have LoL. I'm guessing you sanded with various gritts and used a buffing wheel of some sort to hammer out the aluminum?

2015 BMW 435i Meets HD Speed & HD Poxy

Never tried these products but after seeing this i might have too. If this product will allow me to get better results in less time while keeping things cost effective for my clients as well as profitable to me then its a no brainer. $500+ details are far and few here so providing some level of...

It's the LA of Hawaii and I've thought of moving there to detail as well. PM me and next time we head up to Oahu it would be nice to meet up with other...
