If you had to pick 1 product line for everything?

Interesting thread! I've often tried to pick one for myself but I just couldnt. Once I Opti-Coat my car, I am going to stick with the Optimun line. One a previous car, I almost exclusively used Ultima.

Not a problem. Thank you! That is incredible and just what I was hoping to hear! I was leaning towards OC after talking with who would be applying it for me anyways. Proper washing technique will be used but I'll keep my extra poli-seal on hand just in case. Thank you for all your input!

Sorry, I see that what I typed could be misleading. When I say I don't plan on keeping it long- I mean less than 3 more years because it is already 6 months into a lease. I know nothing is swirl proof sadly :( and my car will be polished and cleaned prior to application of whatever product I...

Does OC show swirls the way a manufacture clear coat does or are they less noticeable with OC applied? Is the only benefit to just preserve the manufacture clear coat longer? I don't want to have to polish away swirls. I want to be protected from getting them. Preserving the clear isn't...

I'm just confused because OC says it's like another layer of clear coat. But you don't have to polish it? What if no one polished the manufactures clear? it would look horrible! Is it because when it cures it hardens and is more resistant to scratches and swirls vs a manufacture clear coat...

Any one else have opinions- Particularly to which would resist swirls better/ longer? That's my main reason for using this type of product. I read all 38 pages of the OC thread, and know it will acquire swirls and not prevent rock chips, but being my car is black, and I am trying to cut out...

I have noticed and have often listened to his advice! :xyxthumbs: It's good advice and I have been leaning towards OC. While I do not care as much about 2 yrs vs. permanent because I will not have the car for much more than 2 years anyways, but if OC is more durable, will it protect against...

I cant decide between CQuartz and Opti-Coat. I thought I decided on CQuartz but now I don't know. I know these haven't been tested extremely long term but maybe you guys know more about the products and can make an educated guess on what would be better for my purpose. Main objectives: 1)...

VW's Leatherette, Alcantara Seat Covers (Jetta)

The only thing I have used on mine so far is Wolfgangs Vinyl and Rubber Protectant. It didnt leave them greasy or slick looking. Buffing with a MF left a nice matte finish which I wanted. I do want to try Poorboys Leather Stuff next. Or... you could just take my car salemens advice "you'll...

    With so many choices...

I should have been a little more clear. I am wondering after applying CQuartz if it makes a difference what wash and spray sealant I use to maintain the car. Thanks

    With so many choices...

I decided I am going to purchase CQuartz. Does it make much difference on the longevity or appearance of the product if I do not use CarPro Iron X Soap Gel or Reload, but another quality wash like dodo or spray sealant like blackfire? Just curious. Feed back please

Customer saying we damgd car -- opinion please

Now, I don't golf or can't picture the surroundings you detail in but there is no surveillance anywhere to show who was driving the car when it went over a curb?

    Removing scratches from shattering glass

I think some are :-/ can't do much about that except some dr. color or whatever it is called? How much could be corrected with a polisher? I was thinking of using poorboys products because they're easy and I would be able to use them outside. The space and lighting isnt the best in my garage.

    Removing scratches from shattering glass

So tonight as I was closing the garage door after pulling my freshly washed car in after a weekend of traveling, the top panel of the door decides to crack and the window in that panel shatters all over my car. I didn't get to take great pictures but snapped some quick ones with my iphone. The...

    Brake rotor rust

I think we could be experiencing the same problem. I have read its common on VW's but i hate having this rust on there after spending hours perfecting my car! After you used steel wool, did it come back after it was wet again? Here is what I deal with everytime I get my tires wet... as...

Giveaway - Daytona Speed Master - Show us your creativity!

While I do not already have one, it would be such a great tool to have! I just cant seem to get behind all the little spokes (10 of them) and this would really help! I could also clean the barrel better...especially around the brakes. I would probably end up buying one for my exhaust pipes! I...
