Hey Fussman i am using a Griots DA and the Megs microfiber pads alonf with the 300 and 301 compound and finishing wax.

I'm using a Griots DA with Lake Country pads. But if the microfiber system is guaranteed not to leave swirls and marks i'm probably better of going with it.

I was thinking after the 105/205 or microfiber system which ever way i decide to go i will aplly some menzerna powerlock and then top with 2 layers of 845 or 915 or 476s i have all 3 waxes. Whats everybodys opinion on that?

I have a customer that wants me to detail her Panamera, the car is 6 months old and black, my question is what is everybodys experience with he clearcoat on these cars? I have never done a car of this high caliber. Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks for all the great info. But i have one more question can i just use the ultimate compound over the 845? Or should i strip the 845 and apply it again after the Meg's?

I also have some Meguiars Ultimate compound should i try it? And what should i follow it with?

The orange pad i used is the one that comes with Griots DA and i used the PB Professional polish. Will the Lake country pads be a little more agressive?

For the baby oil thing are you guys putting the baby oil in the bottle of compound or are you applying it to the pad or paint.

Is there a problem with using a claybar after a wash while the vehicle is still wet? Instead of drying the car and using a quick detailer as a lubricant.

I also have a white F150 and i have found that a clay bar will remove most of the rust colored spots but not all of them. For the stubborn spots i used a 3M claener wax and they came right off.
