    Polishing "Fun"

Let me address a few comments here. First up, the residue/sap/whatever. It was sap-esque.. it wasn't sap. I had used PB's new PwS two days prior and left it in the garage while I went out of town. There is a chance some of that was left on the paint, but again, it shouldn't have been hard to...

    Polishing "Fun"

Allow me to reiterate one thing.. the paint wasn't "burned" in the typical, rotary type burn your paint off. The pad didn't get too hot, the paint was removed by the plate and perhaps the adapter... We are in agreement that it was **way** too much pressure for this particular scenario...

    Polishing "Fun"

I don't think so, the residue was much smaller in area.... about a 1/5 inch line about 4 inches long... you'll see the missing paint is about 2/6

PM^. For all.. the spot is the bumper.. fiberglass or whatever its made out of. There is no new residue, just a lack of paint now.

I took a while with that edit, explanation below picture of pad. Sorry for the delay. Note: my car, not a "client", ie. family/friend's car.

    Polishing "Fun"

My bad, got sidetracked. Allow me to explain.. the above pic is the after. The before was a nice, uniformly painted bumper. Cause: me and this: Not even a rotary... just me and a PC. I was attempting to remove some particularly stubborn residue/sap/ I don't know what. It was hard as a...

    PB Natural Look??

Yes, I've had dust attraction problems, however, I like the look and feel so much I just ignore it. I mainly use it on leather now since I feel it has superior cleaning abilities and conditions a little bit at the same time. By the way Stang, I always have problems with my mouse (laptop touch...

    Review-- Duragloss Aquawax

I like AW and FC&S... I did half of my hood with 921 and left the other side bare after a wash (I mean it had CG 5050 on it, so not actually bare). There was actually a discernable difference in the amount of dust on the hood the next morning. It wasn't night and day, but I believe the...

What should I bring in the house?

I brought all of my chemicals inside... which is when I realized exactly how much stuff I have... its kind of obnoxious for someone that takes care of only 6 cars.

    got my free gift today!

Now, I don't want to make any jealous.. but along with my edge foam pad kit I got the apparently standard Diamondite kit.... then I kept tearing through the packing peanuts... And then I found a jar of MaxWax. No Way. Of course I already have MaxWax, but I use this stuff on pretty much every...

Optimum Poli Seal in 16 oz?

I think they're just doing 32 ounces next. I haven't heard about anything smaller. From what I've seen though, its so versatile that you'll want the 32 ounces sooner or later.
