Product mixing mad scientists, step inside

The one thing not to mix is Optimum hyper and Menz 91L Hyper keeps working but the 91L dries up prematurely I'm about to work on a car wash made up from the best quick detailers and a brand of car wash that no one in Australia knows of yet. The first batch was awesome, if you love purple...

My favourites are Fireglaze and Glare with AW or Showroom gold after each wash to keep them looking invisible and slick.

Product mixing mad scientists, step inside

Great topic, this is right up my alley My mixes so far Trim Dream - machine burnish & sealant kit for urethane and other exterior door moldings Burnishes the top layer so fine that the true gloss comes right up from underneath It works great as a first step on wiper arms as well. Lasts for...

Detailers Checklist - Full and Part Timers / Weekend Warriors 2 !!

What I do depends on whether the customer wants it or not or will pay it. Some say just paint, glass & wheels, others want everything up to and including the tiniest little areas. Most are excellent and know I'm not around to do fleets/dealership detail shop like work but to refinish every...

    Shampoos with Wax?

Industrial wash and wax products for sure are not good Since I don't use waxes on my garage queen, I wouldn't want to use any shampoo with wax in it Shampoo's with gloss enhancing ingredients, conditioner and sealant however I really like Driven's Protective wash with some Duragloss FC&S works...

Pinnicle Products/high End? Or Just Great Marketing ?

Well I've not used much Pinnacle due to high price but XMT is quite reasonably prices in 946ml in Australia and I'm very happy with it on my lower level details where menzerna isn't used. XMT #2 is lovely Almost all shampoo's contain cocoamide (coconut derivative) so I'm not sure about their...

    4 inch wool

Anyone know of a company who make 4 inch wool pads? I am a big user of 4 inch and have had no luck making up some from old 8 inch wool pads A foamed wool and edge black, yellow, green and blue wool pads would be cool. Also, I've got a 1.5 inch LC 4 inch orange pad (first batch they made) Are...

    Ummmm Dont Do This!!!!

8 inch foam pads in a washing machine isn't really a great idea. Wool pads on the other hand are ok I've got a top loading boss (made in oz) 8kg washer and don't have any trouble with all foam pads from 4 to 7.5 inch but the edge pads can't take it for some reason. LC and Sonus DAS are the...

    Are all glazes the same?

Not all glazes are the same but many are similar. Some have fillers that wash out, others don't wash out at all. I've read that prima amigo is ok under sealants 3M imperial will hide alot but it sure is a PITA to use so I haven't for a decade. I think any with many oils would be fine on SS...
