    Another Menzerna by request!

Us aussies have access to this all year round and I've got a little bit left over but haven't used it in ages I used it well before getting 106 and got a terrific wet finish When you put some 106 into the bottles cap and same for 85RD, the RD has a really glossy look and I think would spread...

Menzerna Nano Polish PO106FF vs. Final Polish PO85RD

No they don't dust much if your in a well ventilated area and temperature under 30 ish C When I was working in my garage at home last summer, one day it was 40 + and the menz dusted like a sand storm. Just temp I guess.

A/g Offering Detail Products From Uk!!!!!

Well not entirely. yes alot of them are made by pretty much the same people but their are so many different chemicals that can be used in them There is a huge difference between some products. Many use naptha, kerosone and isoparaffinic hydrocarbons (64742-48-9, 8032-56-2 etc etc) and some...

    Waterless Wash?

FW1 and freedom one are what I use on occasion but not my tickford. that gets washed properly. FW1 foams up nicely and has heaps of lube. The way to go if you want more than just liquid.

    Menzerna Powergloss

PG is terrific when SFX 1 doesn't do the job. damn powerful though. need to tape up all door edges very well and move the buffer over the surface quicker. I have managed to get it LSP ready just once. the other day on a worn out guard. It can be really dusty though so some glycerin on the...

Menzerna Nano Polish PO106FF vs. Final Polish PO85RD

Menzerna will dust if you use edge pads but not much with LC A hint of glycerin in with the polish will stop that and extend the work time a little too The difference I have noticed between 85RD Finishing and 106FF is this 106 has much more cut and provides really good wetness and reflection...

Dragloss poplish boding agent anyone use it?

Yes I use it but not as a base for sealants but by machine as a colour enhancer and polish work time enhancer and paint lubricant (to help machine glide along better) I also apply it and four star paint cleanser by hand for richer colour and more depth after the machine polishing work. It has...

    Product Review: 4* leather cleaner&conditioner

cheers for the review mate. Rick's leather twins are my go to leather products. I have 64 oz bottles of both of them. The cleaner gel I apply with a pakshak 4 x 6 inch microfibre pad and rub it in well to the point that the product begins to suds up. It sure does soften leather and the very...

What if it's not a flat panel?

that's where 4 inch pads come in. I use 4 inches on half of the car now as they work better, get more marks out and I don't burn lower areas of panels from large pad overhang.

How long should velcro backing last?

They should lasts for many years. Many detailers are very hard on the velcro when they rip the pad off the machine really quick. I am very gentle with them and have never had an issue and machine wash mine after three hand washes.

Einszett Perls Wash and Lackfinish Qd'er+

Thanks killer, here is my take on it. Perls is low suds but the end finish after each wash is sensational, it smells good and has polymer sealant protection added on as well. Another great thing about it is that it does not affect slickness that much and will not dry out any exterior trim...

    Polishing techniques

The two brands of sprays I use to prep pads do not contain silicone and will extend working time of some polishes quite well Water can increase the cutting ability of a polish so that's why I don't use that With any machine, I add the drops of product to the surface in one horizontal line and...

How long do you guys work in your polishes?

Most of my polishes are finished once I've done 15 to 30 passes I've begun adding 10 ml of glycerine to 100ml of polish that does not have the working time that I like, such as Dinitrol 7020 The polish then spreads beautifully

Some information on pH and wheel cleaners

Quite an interesting article. I've got DP wheel cleaner gel handy but to be honest, all the cars I've detailed never need to have the wheels cleaned with anything more than the same shampoo thats used on the body. I have a niche market and refuse to use bulk products. th In a detailing shop...
