A interior system I've been working on

In my opinion, if that works for you,and you are happy with the results...that's what matters. If it were me, I would use a pre-treatment and then hot water extractor. Done.

    Canadian Distributors

I just wanted to chime in on canadian distributers since everyone else has been doing so... Auto Obsessed, Eshine and Olde Town Auto Spa have been great to deal with. They ship very quickly and and I haven't had a single issue. As for items out of stock....I'm still waiting on some good news...

Ford F-250 Interior Detail - Yes we do interiors too :)

That truck looks fantastic...makes me feel bad that I don't clean my big Ford on a more regular basis. I have too much fun doing cars and it gets neglected. Your post has made me decide to spend the day cleaning a nasty interior!

    carpet shampooing

For the guys that offer carpet shampooing, what exactly are you doing? I have steamed and extracted, but what are you doing different? I use zep and CG nonsense, and I get great results, but could I be doing something better?

removal of old wax, before new wax - required?

I use the foam gun with CG Citrus wash and gloss. It gives the product more time to dwell on the surface, and more time to strip the wax. I use it for maintenance washes as well...excellent product IMO.

    When to use an AIO?

Where are you buying your products from? I have been hooked on Chemical Guys. I know a lot of people aren't fans around here, but I have had a lot of good work come from their products.

I have worked on a few S500s, S550s and even the SL550. Those are absolute beautiful cars.

    When to use an AIO?

An AIO would probably help in this situation, but it may not be necessary as it does work as a polish as well. If the car is washed/maintained in an acceptable manner, a new coat of wax should be all you need. If the car is a daily driver or left outside all the time, things of that nature...

    I went a little overboard...

Nah, that wasn't me. I've had inner clean for a while now. This time I bought some 4 and 5L containers of ironx and full effect, ONR and some other little things. I do like the inner clean tho, great product for cars and cleans flat screen tvs pretty good too.

faded paint always in the sun

I have an old BMW 635csi that sits outside all year in southern Ontario, Canada. It has red single stage paint that fades to chalky looking pink very quickly. I have no problem polishing back to shine, but I was wondering what to put on it after to prolong the shine? Wax, sealant or one of the...
