    ONR is depressing

"Hopefully our Floridian friends feel for us AG members who are dealing with winter temps". I'm a transplanted Northener in Fl. for 12 years and yes, I do feel for you folks dealing with winter weather. I use ONR almost exclusively - used to be due to water restrictions but car-washing...

    Carpet stain removal help

Folex is your friend! Just spray, let it sit a minute, agitate with a scrub brush (or a Cyclo brush on your PC or UDM), wipe with a white terry towel, vacuum. No more stains.

    Best Glass Cleaner ?

Depends on how bad the glass is. I use Stoners Invisible Glass, Surf City glass cleaner, and a home brew of denatured alcohol, vinegar, and distilled water. You'll probably get alot of different opinions on what's best, many prefer Sprayway. As for your MFs - wash the glass towels separately...

    Giving advice

When you're asked. OR, if you're already engaged in conversation with the person. It also depends on your delivery, don't be "preachy". Maybe something like - "Have you ever tried...?".

Where are you headed for Thanksgiving?

Believe it or not, I go to my ex-wife's for holidays. We remained friendly after our split (mostly for our daughter). Sooo, it's me, my 83-year-old sickly dad, my 90-year-old mom (coming from the nursing home), my ex, my 17-year-old daughter, and some of her friends.

How do you like my new logo...

Love it! Now go take her out to a nice restaurant, it'll still be cheaper than if you had to pay someone to design it.

    ONR First Impressions

"wheels/tires (last of course)". Wheels/wheelwells and tires should be done first to avoid getting road grime and brake dust on your nice clean car, with a different sponge/mitt than you use on the painted surfaces of your vehicle and different wash water. Just my humble opinion. Oh, and you're...

    Old adhesive removal

Do a search for "3M Pinstripe Eraser". It's available online at lots of sites and you can probably buy it locally at any auto body supply store. Please note - I did not post links because I don't want to violate AutoGeek's rules (they're nice enough to provide us with this free forum).

Metro VAC N GO, anyone tryed it?

I use the "Vac N Blo". Lots of power and the blower option takes care of drying seams after a wash. It has a 6' hose and 6' hose extensions can be ordered from the manufacturer.

I emailed Metro and the answer is yes there are 6' extensions available that have both male and female ends to create a longer hose. Just go to their website.

    Vac n Blow extension hose?

The Jumbo Vac N Blo (wall mount) comes with 24' hose (4 - 6' sections) according to the manufacturer's website. I guess an email to Metro is in order as they will be able to answer your question definitively.

I found this link - Household Products Database: Health and Safety Information on Household Products. It does not include the boutique items that "geeks" tend to use but it does include many otc products as well as household products. Just thought I'd share.
