Weekend Giveaway - Diamondite Crystal Gloss Surface Protectant

It's a good idea when responding to giveaway threads to A) Check when the thread was started. If it's a weekend giveaway and it was started weeks ago there's a good chance it's over. And B) Check the last post in the thread. If it shows a winner or there is someone wishing Congratulations...

    Hi from Edmonton, Canada

I love hearing about new guys doing what I did. Spending the first couple weeks just reading and absorbing all the information you can. It's much more informative than jumping on and starting 3 new threads asking "what's the best _____". Also it's always good to see another Canadian on here...

    Poorboys Rollback Giveaway

Poorboy's Trim Restorer and Wheel Sealant are awesome. Great results, great smell and a little goes a long long long way. It sounds like Natty's Red would be great to try too!

whats the better option for blow drying a car

I've used a leaf blower and recently bought the Metro Vac N'Blo® Portable Vacuum I find it much much easier to use the Metro. It's easier to maneuver the tip of the hose to get all the angles and crevices than it is to hold up a leaf blower. I'm not saying a leaf blower is heavy. I'm...

Combining a waterless and rinseless wash?

I agree. The lubricity of DP wateless blew me away. It's a great product! I encourage everyone to give it a try.

Combining a waterless and rinseless wash?

I understand that. Both products are designed to, and work very well at, not inducing scratches and swirl marks. Here's a recent video added to the Autogeek.net Youtube channel. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2i0YPz_DBE]YouTube - How to use a rinseless wash and a waterless wash with...

Combining a waterless and rinseless wash?

The biggest drawback would be the waste of money. Oh and time. There's no need to use both. Both products have their uses.... together is not one of them.

Dawn power dissolver don't use it!

This stuff is made for cleaning dishes, yes? If it didn't rinse away completely with just water, wouldn't there be a residue left on your dishes? Seeing as it's strong enough to eat away at foam like that, it's safe to say that ingesting it would be very harmful to your health? So wouldn't...

How to Remove Sealant from Pads.

I think you guys are missing an easy option. Why not just dedicate one pad for WGDGPS or DP Poli-Coat or whatever sealant you're using. When you're done with the pad, seal it in a zip-loc bag. There's the added bonus of the pad already being primed the next time you go to use it. Which in...

Infamous M105/M205 combo; why do I need M105?

Try using just M205 on a Mercedes with a ceramic clearcoat. You'll be there all day! Even M105 takes multiple passes IME.

What are you working on today?

I don't think anyone is going to be able to fix that. It looks like a write off to me.

What are you working on today?

After I wash the car I'll be taping off the upper grille part of the bumper on my Accord and then laying down some fibre glass to make a custom grille. The car goes in for paint on Monday to repair the key mark in the 2 month old paint job. So I've got to get the grille done this weekend so I...

Popular Mechanics - Interior protectants harmful to your trim

Tony Stewart is just collecting a pay check. Do you think he really goes into the lab to check on the formula? Or even cares about the long term use of a product? He arrives at a location, shoots a commercial, collects the money and goes on to his next public appearance. He doesn't have the...

ONR - Why the new formula?

I'm curious about the new formula too. I have a bunch of ONR left but I'm not sure if it's the old or new formula. When did it change?

    Street Rod Nationals

There are some absolutely gorgeous cars in there. The headers on that green car are some of the strangest I've ever seen. Great shots.

How much interest in a Sat/Sun 101 and 102 class back to back?

Having the classes back to back would make it worth while for people that live farther away. A sunny weekend in Florida while it's ball chilling cold everywhere else would be great. Give lots of notice and I'll do my best to book a flight.

THIN is IN. (UPGP and DP Poli)

I've applied DP Poli-Coat by hand and using a DA. It was soo much easier to get a nice thin, even coat with the DA. Effortless. Overall it took maybe half the time to complete as well.
