Locked in overnight at the dealership.....lots to do

Crazy how many scratches were on "new" cars. Great job and thanks a lot for all the pics! Looks like you used a couple of different DA polishers. Do you mind commenting on the likes/dislikes about each?

Near the Florida panhandle. I am pretty sure it is sand. Looks like another wash is needed. Thanks all.

Too dirty for quick detailer spray?

I washed my truck yesterday and today it rained while I was driving. I would like to use a product like Griot's garage speed shine, but I am wondering if I picked up too much dirt. Here are some pictures showing the dirt around the wheel wells. Can I clean this off with a quick detailer or...

    Clear Coat Failure Question

I had a 2000 Dodge truck and the clear coat failed on it. I wonder if they had some issues that year or if their paints/clears just don't hold up. I traded the truck in before I came across this site. I know others will chime in, but I am sure you could polish and wax your dads car to help...

Is Cockpit Premium giving me enough protection?

I was in the same boat. I've been using meguairs natural shine. It has uv protection, it's a cleaner and detailer with a matte finish. Smells really good too!

    Collonite 915

I'd like to try this but I am currently using Collinite's 845. Once the 845 wears down, can I go right over it with the DG 105 and then apply the 915?

    nanoskin vs. clay

I used the fine grade Nanoskin mitt yesterday. This was my first time using the product. I came away very impressed. You can see and feel the contaminates and particles being removed from the surface. What I liked about it most is you can use the microfiber side to wet/lube up the area, and...

    Collinite 845... Now what?

Hi all, great site! So I washed my truck over the weekend and waxed with Collinite 845. It rained today and the stuff beads up like crazy. I am a believer for sure. My question is, could I use a product like Meguiars ultimate quick wax after regular washings? I am thinking that I won't have to...

Ford F150, should be Filthy 150!!! Caution: This might make you sick, jk

Nice turn around for sure. Question... In those after shots, you can see the swirls in the paint. How would you get those out? Some type of polish/corrector? Also, could an average joe car owner get them out with hand only and no buffing tools?
