    Suggestions for Upgrading Polisher

Hi Mike and everyone, I currently own a Meguiar’s G110v2 with the DA microfiber polishing kit and some foam polishing pads and products. It’s served me mostly well to detail my car and some family and friend’s cars but I’m considering upgrading to a more capable machine that gets work done...

Anyone done Ceramic Pro Leather Coating?

Hi all, Just curious if any of you have ever had leather coated with the Ceramic Pro offering? Any pro detailers on these forums that do it? Curious how it compares to the standard cleaners and conditioners on AG. I suspect most people will probably be partial to typical leather care offerings...

    Issue with maintenance of CQuartz

Water spots, nicks, chips, etc. Sometimes it's a few weeks and sometimes a few months but they do happen.

    Issue with maintenance of CQuartz

Something to consider. I do have quite a bit of Meg's #21 and #26. Don't think it protects as well though and protection is the most important thing with the amount of miles I do (don't need the deepest gloss or reflections). Pros and cons both ways...

    Issue with maintenance of CQuartz

My maintenance process thus far to fix scratches, water spots, etc. has been to correct them by just polishing that area and putting down Reload or more Cquartz to just that area as previously mentioned (not ideal uniform coverage hence why I started this thread). I have a daily driver that is...

    Issue with maintenance of CQuartz

Thanks for the quick responses. Wow, so the only way to properly fix certain areas is to re-polish and re-coat the entire panel? That would mean that every few weeks I'd be re-polishing and re-coating one or more panels to fix spots (with the large hood being the most common). Quite a bit of...

    Issue with maintenance of CQuartz

Hi all, I applied Cquartz to my vehicle about a year ago and for the most part it has been great in terms of protection. One issue I have with it though is whenever I need to do some scratch repair or otherwise remove a defect that cannot be done with a detailer spray, APC, etc., a noticeable...

Suggestions to maintain Tesla Nappa Leather

Thanks everyone. So it sounds like I have a few options between Leather Masters, Swissvax and CQuartz. Swissvax seems good but I don't think AG sells it. I have CQuartz coating on my paint and know CarPro products are generally pretty good.

Suggestions to maintain Tesla Nappa Leather

Thanks for the reply FUNX650. This item you recommend shows for Nubuck and Suede. Is there somewhere that says it is suitable for Nappa leather?

Suggestions to maintain Tesla Nappa Leather

Hi all, I have a 3 month old Tesla with dark gray Nappa leather. So far I have vacuumed it regularly and periodically misted and wiped off distilled water with a microfiber. The owners manual says not to use any products on the leather but to me this doesn't make sense (leather is a natural...

Best product to keep wheels clean the longest?

Thanks guys. Anyone know how CQuartz would compare to the Pinnacle Black Label Wheel Coating that LaFawnduh suggested?

Best product to keep wheels clean the longest?

Thanks for the quick reply aim4squirrels! So are you suggesting I just go with applying CQuartz to my wheels then (after proper decon with IronX and clay bar)?

Best product to keep wheels clean the longest?

Hi all, The cars in my family accumulate a lot of brake dust (even washing every 1-2 weeks). I'm looking at some kind of wheel protectant that has good durability. I've tried Meg's #21 that I have but it doesn't seem to work well on wheels (I mostly have clear coated wheels on my cars). I have...

Less hazardous wheel and tire cleaner

Thanks for the quick reply. I will look into that one. Do you happen to know if it comes in a concentrate? What are the health warnings on the bottle? I wonder why AutoGeek didn't tell me about it and said the safest one was the Meguiars Non-Acid one. Probably just wanted me to keep it and...

Less hazardous wheel and tire cleaner

Hi all, I recently bought the Meguiars non-acid wheel and tire cleaner but upon arrival noticed that it has a high hazard rating with notes about skin burning, digestive system issues, etc. I am fairly sensitive to chemicals so I plan to return it and use something else. When I asked AutoGeek...

    Process for New Tesla

Thanks for the quick reply. So how is CarPro Reflect different from M205? Can it also be applied by DA with a foam finishing pad? I forgot to mention but I do have CarPro Eraser and plan to use it before applying CQuartz to prep.

    Process for New Tesla

Hi all, Just purchased a new Tesla and trying to figure out the best initial detail process. I understand that the paint is fairly soft and I purchased CQuartz to protect it. Upon initial inspection, the paint appears to be in fairly good condition from the dealer with only a few minor...

    Questions on new foam cannon

Hi guys, I just received my new AutoGeek foam cannon and have some questions before I use it. (There was no manual included with it for some reason). 1. What is the nozzle at the top of the cannon used for? Does it control the amount of soap that gets mixed in? I know that the adjustment at...
