Ok so never had to deal with this, kid with bic ink pen drew on leather of Tahoe....

Totally off topic....I made a similar mistake one Xmas. I got my mom a gift card to D!cks Sporting Goods as she wanted these rubber and metal cleets that strap on to boots for walking their three labs in the ice and snowy MN winters. Now I don't know if you have a Dicks in your state but every...

Ok so never had to deal with this, kid with bic ink pen drew on leather of Tahoe....

I'm seasonal here in MN and I don't get many interior requests. People are more attracted to the defect removal that I do and frankly I just don't want to invest the money in a steamer.

    Hard or Soft??

Seeing that title pop up as the first post sent my dirty mind a runnin and now I can't stop laughing.

Ok so never had to deal with this, kid with bic ink pen drew on leather of Tahoe....

Sorry if I wasnt clear. Im on a new medication and it makes me dizzy so sometimes my thoughts are not exactly clear when they go from brain to typing. He is not paying me, he is just a co-worker looking for advice. What I meant was I hate professionally doing interiors so I decline them or...

No power clean although I am considering picking up a gallon to try. The magic eraser idea is excellent. It's a 2005 and frankly I dont think he would care if he went through and removed a bit of the leather coating. Thank you for the feedback.

    Blended wool pads

These my AG friend will become your new best friend: Lake Country Foamed Wool Pads I've been using them for years. They cut quick, leave a nice finish behind (still follow up with a lighter polish) and I wash them in the washing machine, shake them out to get the access water off when they are...

Ok so never had to deal with this, kid with bic ink pen drew on leather of Tahoe....

I hate interiors so I usually decline them or over quote so high that the prospect doesn’t want to pay so my experience with them has dramatically decreased over the years. A co-worker stated his little boy got a hold of blue bic pen and drew some lines on the back of the driver’s seat of...

Just curious, why they hate on the CCS pads vs the flat pads?

Please PM me and let me know your thoughts once you use them.

    Wow! I am impressed!

Cleans better and leaves an even slicker surface.

Recommendation for Yellow 1994 C4 Vette???

I did two C5's back to back weekends and the only difference was one was a stick and one a manual and I couldn’t tell you how the clears between the two were 180's. Both the same color, both had around 52k miles on them. One I had to compound the living daylights out of with Megs 105 and a LC...

If you could only have ONE DA...which one?

I have 4 PC's (Old PC, New PC XP, Griots and Megs) and IMHO nothing beats the power of the Griots.

When is a good time to replace your PADS?

    100% agree, well said.

Had a little mishap with cleaning my pads...

I've been detailing professionally for over 10 years and every load of MF's go in the washer on hot with All Free and in the dryer on high and I have NEVER had an issue. If you do a search there was a gentleman on here a few years back that worked in the dry cleaning / commercial laundry...

    New Product - Wheel Woolies!

I'm ok with it going, "one day" just not after 4 uses and then not getting a replacement and being out $30.

Just curious, why they hate on the CCS pads vs the flat pads?

This I will agree with. I'd like to justify buying a few to try out but we are getting to the end of detailing season here in MN and not sure I want to dump out another $100 to AG.

Just curious, why they hate on the CCS pads vs the flat pads?

Thank you for the input I appreciate that and had never considered the breaking down of the polishes before. My only complaint is that they are a b!tch to clean due to the compounds getting stuck in the pockets.

Just curious, why they hate on the CCS pads vs the flat pads?

The more I read the more I read about people hating the CCS pads. Ive been using them since their inception and have never had an issue with them. Can someone tell me what the benefit of switching to a flat pad might be or why the CCS pads are so disliked? -Longhorn-
