I know I put Collinite 845 on thin but what do I prime my 6 1/2 pad for my da with. will a mist of water work or some Megs 135 spray detailer work ?

Im` warming the Collinite 845 so I can apply I understand I`m to put it on very thin...Question since the PC8424 pad is dry what do I dampen the pad with. Will some Megs 135 spray detailer work or some water mist on the pad?

If you don`t pay attention when buffing and run your buffer clockwise into a edge insted of running the buffer clockwise away from the edge, you can remove to much paint. The tape just keeps you away from the edges that you can couse damage to.

I`ve been using Megs since it came out and it`s the best. Iwas so glad to hear that Synthic X-press SW was the same, I just ordered it and the best is it about 1/3 the price of USW, how good is that.:props: Iuse it once a week or sometimes every two weeks and it keep the car looking perfect.

I see, well there`s no way I`ll resolve that but the orange peel isn`t that bad anyway. I`ve had older cars that were 1 step [ non-clearcoat ] paint and I know that you could deal with the OP. but had no idea it was only in the color coat only. Thanks

I thought 845 was all wax because I never used it and finally someone said it had synthetics in it. So I now know it isn`t all pure wax.

Thats what I understand. there was a thread, someone asked if the 2 products were the same and someone from Meguiars said the products were the same other than D156 was marketed to detailers and USW was marketed to the consumer. If you do the math the D156 costs about 1/3 the price of USW.
