I too was looking at the Flex. It seems to be a great product. I currently have an older PC, still works great, but wanted something with a little more power. After doing a lot of research, I ordered the new Griots from AG yesterday. I have a lot of pads and backing plates already for the PC...

Just got one with the 10' cord. It is 18 gauge, just like the PC.

You might want to look at the new Griots also.
