Thanks!!! It actually has some SWEET 80's blue / silver metal flake in the gelcoat ~ but with that comes metal flake fade.

Thanks sonofoc, I'm sure i'll over heat first. Also I'm open for suggestions if anyone has a bettter pad choice for polishing gel coat.

Flex L3403 Specs say max pad = 6.5" Can I use a Meguiars Solo 7 inch Wool Heavy Cutting Pad? I don't see any heavy cut (twisted Wool) pads smaller then 7". I've got a 1984 20' inboard ski boat to polish. Just bought the buffer to use seasonally on my boat so I don't think I'll wear it...
