I always keep a giant bottle of ALEVE in my detail bag for this purpose. Detailing puts your backing really stressful positions all day long. For blackfire sealant I recommend 2 coats, no need to top it with wax from my experience. The sealant will feel ok the first day, then get super slick...

I tried my sample a few days ago. I too am pretty impressed with it. No sling after 3 coats. (And my car is white) Has a very darkening appearance compared to other dressings ive used. Very unglossy black look. Hard to describe. Smells just like pinnacle black onyx.

Is there a way to tell for sure which version I have? I recently purchased the 3" Griot's and it does bog down with the slightest bit of pressure. Needless to say I am severely disappointed in this product right now.
