Collinite Waxes - Is there really any difference between them?

Thanks for your input guys. I've read before that 915 has the highest carnauba concentration of the 3, but have you ever put all three next to each other on a panel and seen a difference in depth and reflectivity? I've used 476s vs 845 and seen that 845 is definitely better for reflectivity and...

Collinite Waxes - Is there really any difference between them?

Hi guys I know this has been discussed before to some extent, but I've searched through the forum with no luck. My question is, is there really any difference between the three Collinite carnauba waxes 845, 476, and 915. I am looking to get 845 as it is easier to apply than 476 but long term...

Collinite #476 OR Finish Kare 1000p Hi-Temp Wax

I have to agree with Poweraid, Colly 845 is very durable and is IMO on par with 476. I had only one coat applied to my car and it beaded all the way up to the 5 month mark (it isn't garaged). 845 is much easier to apply than 476 and removal is definitely easier but both are hard to remove...

Keep getting streaks on my glass!

Hi everyone, Thanks for all the quick responses. I have found that I need to wipe a few times after with a clean microfiber to remove any glass cleaner residue. But it also seems that in cold weather using the a/c to demist the windows causes the streaks, I think I just need to work on my...

Keep getting streaks on my glass!

Hi guys just got myself some Meguiar's Detailer Glass cleaner concentrate and after diluting 10:1 with distilled H20 I am still getting streaking after using in on my interior glass. I have tried all types of MF towels and settled on WW as the best to avoid streaking. The glass looks really...

DA downward pressure - how much is enough?

Hi everyone, Been searching through the forums trying to find out how much downward pressure is required to achieve swirl removal by da polisher and am having no luck. I am relatively new to DA polishing and have watched many how-to videos, all have helped me to get swirls out but I still feel...

Thanks Mike those articles have given me a lot more insight into pad cleaning. To Derrick why do the rubber spinners break when you put it in your bag? Thanks!

Motor Guard SD-1 Spin Doctor Buffing Pad Cleaner

Hi Mike, I am using a kestrel das-6 dual action polisher. That's weird then if it should do it with a rotary. I must clearly be doing something wrong :) Do you have any experience using the pad spur on the far right with foam pads? Is it true to use only on wool pads? Thanks for the advice it...

Motor Guard SD-1 Spin Doctor Buffing Pad Cleaner

Hi Mike Thanks for the warm welcome! I am working with foam CCS Lake Country 6.5" pads and needed a proper tool as I tried the toothbrush method and it started eating away at the pads so stopped immediately. I can source a spur in my country like the one on the far right but apparently it's...
