    iron x question

In regards to wheels, the wheel weights will change color...it's not permanent, but you will have to scrub it away. Black Plastic pieces are the only items in which I steer clear of when using IronX, as it can cause a bit of discoloring.

    Vapamore MR-100

I too am in the market for a steamer and considering the same unit. There isn't a lot to go off of with this unit, but I will likely choose the Vapamore on its warranty alone. Even more so after the Mytee customer service issues.

Newer Car, need help selecting the best Polish

Welcome JerseyJoe. Are you located in NJ, if so where? I don't have personal experience with either product, but I do have experience with other polishes within both companies. Others with experience will be able to give you their personal experiences and opinions with those specific...

    newbie looking for some advice

The PC is a great machine, but the nominal price difference between the PC and GG6' make this an easy decision. The GG6 is perfect for individuals new to detailing and the professionals.

    newbie looking for some advice

I'd just like to briefly chime in if I may...first, you can't go wrong with either machine, but you should consider the warranty of both the Rupes and GG. Rupes only comes with a one year warranty, while the GG comes with a lifetime warranty. I have first hand experience with GG and their...

What do mobile detailers do in the winter?

This winter season, I secured a garage. It's a friends garage behind his house that he built to do side jobs, as he's a Lexus Tech. The garage is perfect for continuing any jobs that require paint correction. Otherwise, if its above 32 degrees I'll work outside...just layer up! One thing I...

    Awkward Conversation

Well, the individual did contact me again via text, asking for my email if future work presents itself. I said sure, but I had a few questions. Apparently, the individual works for National Detail Pros, Inc. A quick glance through the email sent and their webpage, it seems as though they're...

    Awkward Conversation

I never spoke with the owner, but a middle man of some sort. I've even done a bit of research following the call and it seems as though the number belongs to a Mobile Detailing business out of Utah. The site looks nicely put together and their prices are similar to mine, yet I was asked to do...

    Awkward Conversation

Contacted via text message by an individual asking if I had any availability today. The individual didn't offer any other information. I'm not going to respond with a yes or no until I know what the vehicle and service is their requesting. So, I proceeded to ask who I'm speaking to, the...

    What to add???

Thanks to everyone for the insight. First of all, today I ordered the WG Black Diamond Tire Gel. Simply couldn't pass up on the BOGO of 128oz. For $49.99. I will be placing another order after the first of the new year. I do plan to include most of the items spoke of above... Menzerna...

    What to add???

Thanks Scott and Art! I'm sorry, I didn't mean I would throw things away, just use in conjunction. Tools and products to expensive to just throw away. As far as the extractor, I was considering for the use on mats and spots only (not sure a small unit like those I listed would make sense on a...

    What to add???

Each winter, I look to add something new to my product/tool list. I'm only moving into year three. Last year, I became an authorized installer of Optimums Coatings. I'm not sure I can top that, but introducing new products or tools are key in remaining ahead of the competition. Below are...

    Scratches and a Ford Raptor

I was able to greatly reduce the scratch, slowly working it with my rotary and then follow with my GG and a Menz combo further helped. The truck looks amazing...to bad the sun drops at 430 in the winter...no after shots for now.
