In regards to wheels, the wheel weights will change color...it's not permanent, but you will have to scrub it away. Black Plastic pieces are the only items in which I steer clear of when using IronX, as it can cause a bit of discoloring.

I purchased the Vapamore MR-100 Primo this evening and I'm excited to get steaming!

I too am in the market for a steamer and considering the same unit. There isn't a lot to go off of with this unit, but I will likely choose the Vapamore on its warranty alone. Even more so after the Mytee customer service issues.
