So it's that time of the year up here in New England. Too cold to wash, too much road grime for the touch free car wash to clean. What are your thoughts on waterless washes? Which brand would you tend to be faithful to? Also, is there a temp that may be too low for waterless washes?

Wash, wax, polish, QD, etc. Thought I'd stick with one brand. Since I'd be in Advance Auto for product anyway, I just wondered which brand would give me better results for maintaining a DD?

I deal with this every time I wash my truck. (I really should invest in a water softener kit!) I use Meguiar's Perfect Clarity glass cleaner and lightly run a glass scraper over the glass. Then simply wipe clean. It smells great too!

Thanks, I appreciate that. That just saved me some wasted time. Instead of 2 coats of wax I'll use the time to do one polish and one wax.

"Skip layering different LSPs for durability..." What about layering the same LSP for durability? I'm thinking of 2-3 coats of Meg's Ultimate Liquid Wax to extend the protection through the N.E. winter months.
