#1 Megs D115 - My new favoritest product: Another glowing review

I want to try something like the 114 or ONR to have on hand to use as a clay lube, rinsless wash. The WW I have now has some protection in it which is nice to use to maintain the LSP ? I think I will order some ONR to try out

#1 Megs D115 - My new favoritest product: Another glowing review

I was thinking of ordering some of this but the delution ratio seems a little weak. 4-1 for a waterless wash when CG's is 16-1. The D114 seems like a much better option but does not have any protection.

    Waterless wash idea

Im new to all this and thanks to this site and you tube I have learned a ton about how to properly take care of my cars. One of the best things I have learned about is the waterless/rinsless wash systems. This is not only a huge time saver its way easier and saves water here in So Cal. The...

Thanks for the info, I do appreciate it as Im trying to learn . I was just trying to wrap my mind around how such a small amount at such a low cost is as good as an expensive clay lube. Detailed with wax for clay lube?

I clayed 2 cars with a 16oz bottle of the CG blue luber. I think it costs $10 a bottle so $5 each car and they were small SUV's. I think I'm going to use some waterless wash on the next one and see how that goes.

Detailed with wax for clay lube?

Ok I have been put in charge of buying all our car wash products for our fleet of trucks, they are a mix of pickups and big rigs. At our level we use bulk wash products and we are trying out a new brand that we seem to like so far. One of the products is called spray wax/detailer. It seems...

Black vs blue pad for liquid wax

The black pad is perfect for applying UW, but personally its so easy to use I put it on by hand. That is the sealant I use and I follow it up with some ultimate spray way.

    First attempt at swirl removal

I bought the polisher before I learned of this site and all the great polishers available. It's a harbor freight that I replaced the backing plate to a 5" quality model. It seems to have plenty of power and never lacks rotation even with a good amount of pressure. I may upgrade down the road...

My daughters boyfriend bought a used jeep, it's a 2007 and the paint had a ton of swirl marks in it. The jeeps is in good condition ,but has some minor dents in the hood, looks like hail or something. Anyway I offered to polish it for him with my DA and it came out great! First we washed...

Estimated time for a 1950 Plymouth suburban

I know next to nothing about pro detailing, but like anything else I would charge him what you feel is fair to do a good job. From there let him decide to take it or leave it, if he is already trying to pinch you I would walk.
