    Vacuuming Problems

If it was me and I had to continuously drive in those conditions I'd buy Weather Tech plastic type mats and let them carry the gravel and dirt. Then if your going out and want to look nice, just remove them; out them back when you need them. Save a lotta work.

Are any auto car washes good and safe?

I use a touchless wash that's in the next town, all the time. But, I use their high pressure wand with NO soap, just on the RINSE cycle to clear off all (or most) of the loose debris. Then I drive home, for two miles, on the highway (70MPH or so) so the car is 99% dry by the time I get home...

Looking for a good drying towel

Couldn't tell you. I've never used a Cobra Waffle Weave, I hear they're good though. But a 16x16 inch waffle weave won't hold as much water as the 16x16 inch PFM, I can tell you that. Besides, for me, I personally like the 16x16 size and most waffle weaves are quite a bit larger - I don't care...

My Merc loves Optimum Leather Protectant. Also GREAT for trim, including the under the hood shrouding.

Looking for a good drying towel

Rained today, quite a bit. Went out to perform a test wipe with my new PFM towels (2), 16x16 inch size, slightly larger than a standard facecloth. Well, I dried the entire SUV (medium sized) with two towels. Almost completed the drying with just one towel, but I went to the second one just to...

Looking for a good drying towel

Just recieved my pack of two PFM's. Wow! Are these things dense, I swear each 16x16" towel weighs about a pound and a half. We're in severe drought conditions now, But I can't wait untill the next rain so I can try one out.

    Collinite shelf life

I just did my hood and two front fenders with a seven year old sample bottle of Collinite 845. Worked like a charm, I had forgotten how easy this was to use. Car looks great. We'll see how it holds up. The sample bottle smelled OK, the texture felt OK, it spread like it was butter and, once it...
