    M205 + Black Cherry

Thanks everyone 😊. I did a few passes and then checked. If there were still some imperfections I did a couple more and that was about it. Seemed to correct pretty fast. Now the car is yellow with all the pollen we are getting in NE Florida 😡. Supposed to get some good rain tomorrow so at...

Looking for an "all in one"...

By hand I have used CG Top Coat Sealant with Carnub. It goes on easy and come off super easy.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. This is the Spray Wax I use. I have used it for a while and I'm very impressed. Works great on glass too.

    M205 + Black Cherry

Decided to give my girl a good hand job today 😜. This was my first time using M205 and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. Spray Wax was used after I washed the dust off. Nice Reflection Shot

Scratched Interior? Use a Heat Gun

    - Never tried this technique before on Interior trim. I knew it was ballsy trying it on my DD but I couldn't be happier with the results. I have a Wagner that I picked up from Home Depot. - I've seen this done on exterior trim so I thought, why not try it on the inside?! I'm not...

Scratched Interior? Use a Heat Gun

    - Yes!! Name comes from when I had my Burnt Orange 350z :) - Why yes it is. Traded in my '03 350z for a '12 370z. Nothing else was used. - Exactly. I kept the gun a few inches from the plastic and just kept moving it around in a circular motion. Once it gets hot enough the scratches...

Scratched Interior? Use a Heat Gun

Yesterday I noticed that the upper most part of my center console near the shifter was scratched to all heck. Most likely due to the zipper on my jacket sleeve. It's been frío in NE Florida lately. So this morning I broke out my heat gun and got to work. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! It...

    My new girl!

Thanks Everyone. No more than is to be expected. The ride is smooth. You really can't hear it over my exhaust 😉

    My new girl!

Now that the sun has decided to show its face, I gave her a quick wash with Meg's D111.

    My new girl!

Thanks Mike. I did not follow up with 3000. One reason was I didn't have any 3000 laying around. I just took my PC 7424xp, LC MF Pad and HD Speed and they came out with a nice smooth finish.

    My new girl!

Hey everyone. It's been a while since I've posted. I have had to take a little break due to cutting my left middle fingertip off with a table saw. Now that is healing nicely, my Orthopedic Dr. gave me the green light to start using it to toughen up the skin. So what better way than detailing...

    Bumper Love

Gave my front bumper some love today. Wet sanded with 1500 and then hit it with some HD Speed. I also sanded, filled and primed some nasty scratches on the bottom. The rock chips are still terrible but at least it has some shine to it now. Will be going into the body shop for some minor work...

    Icky B Pillars

I did apply some CG Top Coat Sealant on them. I used a plastic primer then a few coats of black wheel paint followed by a couple coats of clear. The wheel paint is a heavier duty paint that "in my mind" will resist chipping better. In regards to the trim, I use HD Protect on all my rubber...

    Icky B Pillars

Thank you. I did that exact dance when I was done. Haha 😂

    Icky B Pillars

Hello everyone. Today I tackled the task of finally painting my Z's door handles black to match the rest of the black accents I have done. When complete, I noticed how terrible the B Pillars looked and knew I had to do something about it. The handles are a glossy black and the pillars didn't...

    Removing tire stubble

Those are actually called vent spews. They serve absolutely no purpose after a tire is made. Have fun with the scissors :)
