The paint I used wasn't an exact match but the 600 grits sanding was just on the curbed area. I sanded with 1500 around it that the clear filled in. If blended and a small repair area such as yours I doubt you would be able to notice.

Much appreciated. There are some spots the paint didn't lay down even so I'm gonna wet sand it this afternoon and then lay down a couple coats of clear and then wet sand again.

Today I detailed a BMW for a new client/friend of mine. Thanks to folks that gave me some advice in my Detailing 101 post, I had a good plan of attack. The rims were terrible, and the paint....... well you will see in the pics. Total time spent was around 6 hours. 1 hour cleaning the rims...

My $300 jobs take about 7-8 hours. That equates to around $42 an hour which is more than I make at my normal job :) so I'm happy with it. I do this as a hobby so I'm not in it to make lots of $$$. It's my mental escape from my hectic work weeks.

Dilution ratios confuse the heck out of me. Just got some D101 and it says it can be diluted 10:1. How do you calculate how many ounces of concentrate : ounces of h2o?

My bottle lasts a long time. I only use it on my $$$$ packages. For people that want just an outside wash and vac I use an APC.

I used a couple oz. of CG Snow Foam. It will try a bit more. If it still isn't great I'll get a better cannon.
