About to use some Collinite 845 in an hour. Any tips?

Just do as the others have said...and read that thread. The 845 should be in *liquid* form after warming and shaking the bottle. That is one thing that threw me off the first time I used it ('cause you open the lid to see the thick pasty wax).

The "What do you do for a living?" question

I am an IT systems administrator (unix, network, storage). Detailing is my part time business. Those of you that are detailing part time with a full time job; have you ever thought of taking detailing full time? What is holding you back? Just curious...good topic! :)

New detail menu; looking for feedback

Good question, I don't know all the answers completely yet as I just started using the brochure. Here is how I have used it so far; I have handed it out to various auto shops (specialized shops so far) along with biz cards for referral business. I have emailed it out to previous customers...

Blackfire and chemical guys blacklight question

Hmm not sure on that one. Since Blacklight is also a sealer of sorts, I would imagine you could put the Blackfire WD on after the Blacklight, then V7 again after that. Never tried that personally. I have applied Blackfire WD after CG EZ-creme glaze, then followed with a carnuba wax (which looks...

    Blackfire wet diamond

Are you certain the holograms were not there *before* you did your work? I would just spot correct the bad areas and re-seal/wax. I've applied wax over BWD that has only sat a couple hours many times without any issue. I prefer to let BWD sit overnight but sometimes it does not always work out...

    Hard water marks.

I have used CG water spot remover with success. Also just hand polishing with an applicator pad as Mike mentioned. Nice Vale' avatar by the way :)
