Greetings! I do like to wax my car but I would prefer the protection that seems to accompany opti coat 2.0. I would like to know if Opti coat eliminates water spots/stains? Both my vehicles are black. Also, does it keep wheels clean? Or at least allow you to simply spray off the brake dust...

320 wet sand will strip it with some elbow grease. I followed up with 600, 1500 and 2000. Regular Mothers mag polish and finish it with Billet polish and a coat of Mother's synthetic wax. They look puuuuuuuuurty ;)

ok, so I am not crazy. I was trying to think of a good reason as to why step one is always "apply to cool vehicle". I don't have much shade at my house so I have always waxed in the sun. I never had a problem but I figured if it was a no-no, you guys would know why.

There are a couple products but I haven't found one that works permanantly yet so I too, will await some advice from the experts on the forum. However, if you get some Mother's "Back to Black" and rub it in real good, it should remove those spots. Good Luck!
