    Car Detailing Routine

Skip the dish soap as they tend to leave residue on the surface. Just use your car wash soap. You can use a higher concentration of it if desired. After you have polished the paint to your satisfaction the final step is to apply your wax or sealant. Remember, you don't necessarily have to...

Use CarPro Eraser with Wolfgang line?

Just apply the sealant after polishing (per product description page for the finishing glaze). No need for Eraser in between.

Jay Leno’s Garage Vehicle Wash - Review and How-to by Mike Phillips

True, but at least those other soaps can be purchased in a larger size at a discounted price to offset the cost and the recommended amount per wash is 1-2 ounces. I still can't get my head around the directions on the Leno wash stating to use 3-4 ounces per wash.

Jay Leno’s Garage Vehicle Wash - Review and How-to by Mike Phillips

Picking up a "new" used car - How to start removing all the previous "detailing"?

Re: Picking up a "new" used car - How to start removing all the previous "detailing"? You are 1000 percent correct about the dealer tire slime. Some of that stuff can take up to 6 rounds of scrubbing to remove. Definitely a deal breaker there.

    Ram Chrome Clad wheel cleaning

Agree. My personal experience is that the discoloration and grime on chrome clad wheels does not come off when using wheel cleaners or apc. Polish them with a cleaner wax or aio and they will look like new again.

    Can DLUX renew this plastic?

The rear bumper may be salt, but the finish on that mirror has definitely peeled. As already stated it will have to be refinished.
