    am I worthy?

The best way to distinguish yourself from those other detailers is to learn from the wealth of knowledge on this forum and be able to use that knowledge to detail a vehicle to the standard that you are looking for. You can do that by working on your own vehicle a little at a time if you do not...

Rebel Auto Detailing Carts - Rebel Detailing Cart Review by Mike Phillips at Autogeek

Re: The Autogeek Rebel "Everything You Ever Wanted In A Tool Cart" Tool Cart! Extremely cool and well thought, but unfortunately too pricey for me. :bolt:

what's one product that has impressed you (lately)?

Hydro2. Amazes me every time I use it. HD Speed. Blackfire AIO Tire and Trim. DP Roadkill.

    Blackfire AIO Tire and Trim.....WOW

I really like this stuff. Did a great job on my 19 year old engine bay: Worked really well on these tires before I sold them. The middle tire had not been treated yet. They looked even better after sitting for a little while.

LC Hybrid grey heavy cutting pads

I purchased a couple of the gray force pads but have not had the opportunity to use them yet. I can say that just by examining the gray pads the foam is noticeably more stiff and I would anticipate that they will cut better than the hybrid orange.

    Collinite 845 dried out

This. The cap on the 845 bottle is notorious for not tightening well. With that said, I have never had the contents dry out to where the wax could not be revived as stated above. With some heat and shaking you should be good.

how do I remove the little rust-colored dots on white paint

Absolutely. The back end gets the most deposits. IronX is a must on a white vehicle, and imo needs to be used on white paint at least annually, even on a sealed or coated vehicle.

Help me pick new pads for my 3401

Thanks everyone for the replies. I am intrigued by the new force pads, so I ordered them in the 5.5" size (gray, orange, white, and black). I will let you know what I think of them after I have the chance to use them. This will also help my decision of which 6.5" pads to get in the near future.

Mike, have you used the force pads yet? If so, what are your thoughts?

Help me pick new pads for my 3401

I am looking to add more pads to my collection for the 3401. I currently use mainly the 5" hybrids, but I am open to trying some of the recently released pads that are now available. I am specifically looking at the Lake Country Force pads, or either of the Low-Pro or Uro-Tec from Buff and...

    Stains/water spots on drip rail

I would definitely give that a shot first. Cleaner waxes and AIO work well on those materials.

What setting for 3401 and HD Speed

Thanks guys. My main worry is if higher speed reduced the amount of time available to work the product. I will experiment with different speeds.

What setting for 3401 and HD Speed

Just wondering what the optimal speed setting is for using HD Speed with the 3401? I used it for the first time earlier this week and iirc I was at 4-4 1/2. Worked fine for me, but want to see what everyone else is doing. Thanks in advance.

    Experience with AIO

The consensus is that it works best with a pad that has good cutting ability. I used it with an orange hydrotech pad and it worked extremely well.

    HD Speed

I just used speed for the first time the other night and was blown away by it. IMO it lives up to all of the hype and praise that it has been generating. Long working time, great correction, and wipes off so easily. Here is a pic of speed topped with poxy.

1997 F350 dually prep for sale

There aren't many of these trucks in my area in this good of shape, so I am hoping to get a good price for it. It has an aftermarket intercooler (not available from factory on pre- 99 Fords), downpipe and exhaust, DP tuner, transportation cooler, Tymar air intake, and set of gauges on the pillar.

1997 F350 dually prep for sale

Having difficulty with the app on my phone. Here are the pics. The hood is the same white as the rest of the truck but looks like a different color because of the overhead lighting.

1997 F350 dually prep for sale

I am preparing my 1997 F350 dually for sale. 7.3 Powerstroke diesel, 132,000 miles. I take good care of it, but it has been parked outside 24/7 since I bought it 7 or 8 years ago. So far I have spent 9 hours over the last 2 nights detailing it. First evening was thorough wash, in which I...
