I cleaned the ones in my wife's old Altima with a brush and apc then sprayed off with my power washer. After they dried I put 303 fabric guard on them which helped quite a bit.

I applied opticoat 2.0 a few years ago when the temp was in the high 40's low 50's and it didn't seem to cure correctly would still smear after 4 days, so I'd wait until it's warmer or you can apply and let cure in a heated garage.
