An honest amateur review of the Metro Master Blaster

Here are a couple of demo videos that i just shot. It was a very light rain outside so i didnt have to drag out the hose to get it wet. The truck has 2 coats of BFWD that were put on about 3 weeks ago. In the first video, it blows the larger water droplets away with ease. I noticed that some of...

An honest amateur review of the Metro Master Blaster

There will be a video to follow.... But it's not terribly loud. No louder than a shop vac in my opinion. The thing that is noisy is when you blow certain pieces of the body of the vehicle. Some cracks and crevices may produce a very loud whistling noise from the amount of air blowing around it...

An honest amateur review of the Metro Master Blaster

I have to preface this with basic info. I'm a hobbyist and by no means a professional. I recently had the chance to borrow a friends Metro Master Blaster (MB3-CD) and couldn't wait to use it after hearing all of the hype. I had been debating on buying one for a few months so now i had the...

    Spray Waxes

The first one I ever used with the blackfire wet diamond polymer spray which I usually used after washing. I thought it worked well but I tried optimum spray wax for the first time last week and was blown away. Incredible appearance and feels like a sheet of ice! I can pretty much guarantee that...

I have a black truck and I haven't had any issues with scratches. Just rinse frequently. It is supposed to soak in soapy water for a bit before use and you use very gentle pressure when you go over bug guts and it gently pulls them off the pain.

I bought one of those yellow bug sponges. Works great. I cut it in half with a serrated knife and it still works perfect and doesn't scratch. Plus it's like creating your own bogo

How much WGDGPS does it take?

I would say I used about an ounce on my full size pickup. I'd say most of the product is used to prime the pad and then a few dabs

    Blue/grey/red pads

Sounds good! Much more understandable now. I have 4 3" hydrotechs in tangerine and cyan. Now, it would still be ok to put the SF4000 down with a white pad if needed after unsatisfactory results with the white pad?

    Blue/grey/red pads

By polish do you mean menzerna sf4000 polish or like an AIO

    Blue/grey/red pads

I have a few of each from LC (flat and CCS smart pads), but I've only used the red so far to apply BFWD. Reading the descriptions on the website still confuses me since they all basically say the same thing... Is there a more specific pad or situation where one pad is more desirable? I read...

Most lubricated car wash soap (2 bucket method)

Used the optimum car wash yesterday for the first time. Extremely impressed. Suds are awesome and all I did was measure three gallons and dump it onto the soap at the bottom of the bucket. It leaves an amazing shine, smelled great when mixed, and left a very high gloss on the paint...

Most lubricated car wash soap (2 bucket method)

Not to hijack the thread, but is it possible to use ONR or ONRWW as a traditional wash? I don't see why not, but I could be wrong.

I don't get it. I got some blackfire bottles and some of the generic autogeek bottles. They look to be the same. All of the tops were interchangeable but they did not seat correctly on the BF ones. Oh well. 16oz Meguiars is up next!

Ultima WW+, optimum car wash, some pads, bottles, optimum spray wax... And collinite 845 Anybody else have issues with the top screwing onto the blackfire dispenser bottles?? One of the tops wouldn't seal on the blackfire bottle and it would pop off any time I shook it. I had enough extra to...

    Bunch of beginner questions

Hello! Fairly new to the Autogeek level of detailing and correcting, and after buying up the entire store, I have a few basic questions. I have an 08 BLACK Chevy Silverado that i take pretty good care of. Some minor swirls since its a daily driver, but nothing bad, however, my biggest gripe is...
