Have you test driven a mazda cx-7 or cx-9 yet? Everyone I know that has bought one loves it. Both are AWD and handle fantastic considering their size and practicality. I agree that buying a first year vehicle isn't very wise, no matter how much testing they do they're still going to be finding...

For paint, I don't use my Gilmour foam gun for anything except giving a good pre-soak when its filthy, then I rinse off the foam, foam it again, and use my normal 2 bucket method. I love the foam gun for getting at wheel arches and other hard to reach places though.

Dunlop D1 Direzza Star Spec's are fantastic tires for your money (IMO the best bang for your buck) if you're looking for a high performance summer only tire. If they're going on the car in your avatar though I'd get something more like an all-season touring tire for more comfort and tread-life...

Some people claim the look of carnauba is deeper than a sealant, personally I cant see the difference. If I'm using a sealant I won't top with a wax because I like how most sealants don't attract dust.

Haha, coming from a miata, this is already VERY "go fast" from the factory. It has about 140HP more to the wheels than my miata did and at least as much more torque. I'm planning on keeping it stock, with my only mod being maybe a short throw shifter. Don't wanna void my warranty. Sorry to hear...

Thats funny because I received a sample of OPT Poli-Seal from flatstick on autogeek over the winter, it was 100% frozen solid and separated when I received it due to weather. I shook it almost constantly as it thawed and it hasn't separated again yet, and it's been almost a month now.

I like DP Interior protectant A LOT. It's not matte, and darkens/rejuvenates the dash a bit, but it's definitely not greasy or oily like armor-all or anything like that. It lasts quite a while in my experience and seems to really go deep down and moisturize the vinyl.

I work in shipping and holy sh** man let me tell you, its not only UPS, but Fedex and USPS as well thats been messing up a lot in the last few months. I've had to file a few claims every week at work due to lost or damaged packaging when in the last 3 years I've only had to do less than 10.

Agreed! It's definitely not my favorite wax to apply/remove but it looks great, beds/sheets well, and lasts a good while.
