    Big Time Giveaway!

Just like a lot of people who have posted, I too have never been to DF. It seems like it would be a lot of fun. I read some good ideas thus far. It would be nice to see attendees to post to the forum using the mobile app. Maybe a digital sign-in booth for the forum with iPads or laptops. Take...

Horsepower War is in full effect

I liked the video too. You would think it's a tweaked Mustang, but it is a new car from a small company based in Rochester Hills, Mich. According to the article I read the company "began working on the Bass770 six years ago. Its aim was to create the ultimate dream car; one that's undeniably...

2006 Ford Expedition - Production Detailing Demo Car

Always clay. If the paint is well maintained you may not even need to use iron x. If it's like this Expedition, definitely both. Claying will take care of those above surface contaminants. Polish after clay?

Another option would be to apply a glaze, like PB Black Hole or one from the CG line. It's just an option, in case you don't want to polish, but get similar results. You'd just be masking the very minor swirls you do have and putting off the polishing until next time, perhaps during warmer weather.

    The Incoming Polar Vortex

All this talk about cold weather makes me miss the seasons. I'm originally from Upstate NY, but have been in southern CA most of my life. I'm one of those weird people that actually likes it when it's cold. Today, when the rest of the country is freezing over we have high 70's/low 80's...

    Hello from Souther California

:welcome: I'm also from SoCal. Orange County to be exact. There's some great detailing classes around here, so hopefully you can join in. I know Meguiars has a Thursday night detail session you could jump into. Like Art mentioned, we also like to get together from time-to-time. That's how I met...
