Which one would you recommend? New car purchase..

It sounds like she's in a good position to take her time to decide. The decision should be based on how much she drives & weather conditions year round. If she's coming from a Matrix, then the Hyundai may be the closest feel to what she's used to. My mom has one and it's pretty nice. It's small...

How would you detail this car? ----> Barn Find - 1961 Plymouth Fury

For the exterior, I would use the new WG Uber Rinseless Wash product; give it a good pre-soak at the waterless dilution. Then follow up with a thorough rinseless wash. I wouldn't want to use too much water where it may get into areas I can't reach. These old cars love to rust, and I don't want...

    Waterless engine detailing?

I agree with you. If you need a little pressurized blast of water I suggest buying a hand pump sprayer. It'll help to rinse off the heavily soiled areas. But great tips from Mike and Nick. Can't go wrong with their advice.

    Wolfgang Uber Coating booster?

Also, someone asked the question if there's any sealants/waxes in Mike's thorough review, from this post: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/new-car-care-products/96297-review-how-wolfgang-uber-rinseless-wash.html Mike's response was... "There's no wax or sealant in the formula but there are...

    Wolfgang Uber Coating booster?

From what I understand, the WG Uber Rinseless doesn't contain any "protective" qualities, while the Detail Spritz does. Here's a quote from the product description for the Detail Spritz: "Wolfgang Instant Detail Spritz is formulated with high-tech German super polymers. These highly-reflective...

    Volkswagen CC

I started a spreadsheet a couple years back re. this subject. It's informal and meant for everyone's input. Someone else noted that the VW paint was on the medium to hard side. But, that was for a '14 Jetta. Most of the cars we work on are mass produced, so the consensus should be somewhat...

SoCal Roadshow Class - Pictures & Comments

Looking back through my inbox, I did indeed get your email. It just got buried with all the advertisement emails due to the holidays. :awman: I'll have to update you with my other email. My yahoo account is one of my generic ones that I keep track of less and less now. My own fault for...

Resurrection! Breathing New Life Into Dead Paint

Thanks. He loves that car and does drive it daily. He felt bad about how it looked before we got our hands on it. Afterwards he had a big smile. I'm happy he's doing his best to keep it looking good still. A full restoration will be needed at some point, but at least it can wait a little while...
