What's the most utilized pad size you are using for small areas?

3" is the most used after 5.5 I think. I personally just use 5.5 for everything even though I have a 3# backing plate with 3" pads . I tried it once and I did not like it , it felt like I had zero control on my DA polisher. Mind you that I was using my Griots 6" with a 3" backing plate, I dont...

First time out ever: impressions and questions

Sometimes you gotta choose your battles when it comes down to deep scratches , sometimes its just not worth it to try going for perfection , it wont happen . From experience deep scratches are better to tackle with wet sanding , you will just be going at the specific spot , I find that trying to...

    anyone using TWO DA's?

2 da's would be a waste. I much rather buy a rotary, it would be an upgrade . Maybe even a 3" if you want to make it easier to tackle certain areas. Never had a problem changing pads, I usually start with a red or microfiber on the areas that I know required more attention , I do not use more...

Finally did my first 2 ceramic coatings

yes you are 100% correct , under a darker type of light it pops hard, if it is very bright out there , it does not give you that. my brown enclave pops harder even if I m just using something like turtle wax ceramic , which is not a bad product but its not a ceramic coating Having said that...

Finally did my first 2 ceramic coatings

I used it by hand once and it did a good job. No dusting. Im just not a big fan of compounds and da polisher . Unless i have a big scratch or i want to polish after wet sanding. I like using my hand with a heavy cutting compound. I was happy with ultracut. Sonax cutmax was also great. 🔥 Im also...

Finally did my first 2 ceramic coatings

sorry I should clary that it is an orange pad , not a red pad . I m not a big fan of a mist , for some reason water and polish together doesnt feel like I m doing anything , but I m wondering if that would work better . I m going to give it another shot on the roof of my cadillac , I paid too...

Finally did my first 2 ceramic coatings

I m going to post some pictures once the weather gets better, its been raining for 4 days Carpro lite ceramic coating I dont like it by itself, again , it would be great if I did not see the end results I can get with other products. Its like driving a 400 hp car and going back to your 250 hp...
