I don't like real trees to much mess I have 2 dogs that would make it worse I have a fake tree pre-lit very nice. If I did get 1 and was in your situation I would use a heavy blanket or a couple beach towels to make a cushion between my roof and the tree or just wrap the whole tree up.

Instead of using Mother's polish use Never Dull very cheap you can find it at any auto parts store or wally world. I to got scratches from using Meg's polish. Never Dull really brings the shine back give it try can use it on any metal surface chrome, stainless, brass, whatever.

Oh and good luck I'm try to start doing a little detailing on the side after winter

Just be careful make sure you have a good conversation on the phone before meeting so you can sort of get a feel of the person to try to eliminate some of the head aches

I use m205/tangerine ht pad and got all the hard water spots out worked great I'm sure m105 will work too

Take your time I work 12 rotating shifts and on call on my days off also house/yard work so I know how it's hard to do projects thats not really a priority takes time that's why I think I haven't started detailing for side money yet not enough time. Any kind of recommendations and guidance...

Yeah sorry let's clear that up, you want a cleaner that foams since your doing by hand if I remember? Meg's APC does foam somewhat but the APC+ does not foam. Hope that helps.
