I am planning on using Ultimate Compound at the moment. Only the hood and a few other spots are getting that treatment. Being white, I am sure the UC will not need to be followed up. I purchasded the Sonax for my wife's vehicle with soft black paint (still haven't used it).

I was thinking it would provide longer protection, and this is a truck that never gets washed. Plus it would give me a reason to buy some 105 Im the MAN

I personally like foam better. Now if they only had as many different foam pad applicators OTC like they do microfiber.

What about the “in line” filters for the hose. Has anyone tried those? Or would money be best spent elsewhere?
